Are Rigondeauxs fights boring to most because?

Donaire hit him with a good left.

Ring god followed it up with a feint jab, then best punch of fight

 

People find them boring because they are uncompetitive, it's not his fault no one is good enough to force him to fight a more aggressive way. I find his fights interesting, it's not his style that's boring its the fact that the fights are uncompetitive. Pacquiao has an 'exciting style' yet I found his fight with rios mind numbing due to the fact it was so one sided.

 

yeah i hear people always complaining that watching ronaldo and messi play is boring because there just so much better than every one eles , i mean they make all world class defenders look **** , so theres just no point in watching them:nut

Rigos fights are boring because there's a lot of mutha****as who don't know **** about boxing !

 

Rigo is light years better than anyone at or around his weight. Nothing about his fights are boring the guy is a boxing master.

 

fighting a guy and giving him his 4th loss in 6 fights doesnt make sense for a guy who is on the pound for pound top 10. his win over donaire was great.
going from there to Agebeko is a let down

 

Its all about what style you like to watch. Some people like more action, some like technical skill (why is it always the fans with the technical preference acting smug and superior......***s)
I personally have a very high appreciation for Rigo now. Didnt use to, and while his style is pretty boring his skillset is amazing. That being said it does suck to see someone like him have complete control of the fight/ring and settle to dominate on points. I much prefer to see someone who is leagues above someone else put serious heat on their ass and go for the ko (ala floyd gatti)

 

he literally is TO TALENTED FOR HIS OWN GOOD!. he has HUGE RING IQ

amazing handspeed
sharp as a tac reflexes
and good power

being a natural counterpuncher he is going to lower his opponents output and he makes it look incredibly easy... but dont be fooled.. he just did it to AGBEKO and donaire. one is a good seasoned veteran who has a reputation for not being afraid to take a hit to throw his own and the other is donaire who was (correct me if im wrong) p4p #3 or 4 when rigo completely outclassed him..

i dont know why people hang **** on him for being boring.. in the early rounds he plays safe and tenative (collecting data just like alot of other high IQ fighters such as floyd)

but after a while of having them figured out and tenative to throw because of his counters he really starts to pressure them... im actually watching the agbeko fight now and the 5th and 6th round he is just pouring it on him...

 

given promotional issues (pretty much means no one outside of TR)
and fighters he has allready beaten. who would you like him to fight next (moving up in weight MAY be an option but he is not big for his current weight class.. nor has he ever had issues making weight)

 

Agbeko shoulda gone for the knockout and then got stopped himself but instead he went the distance, same as Rios against Pac

Its not about boring its about the opponent basically gives up and just wants to go the rounds

 

Level of competition has never been an issue with Rigondeaux.

Giovanni Andrade sucks and has a terribly padded record, but for someone to destroy him in their rookie year as Rigondeaux did was an impressive beginning...and it only got better in his sophomore year when he graduated to boiled-shoe toughs like Beranza and Landeros (both with experience upsetting prospects, especially Beranza) and stopped them both. Of twenty-eight losses in sixty-six bouts for Beranza, the one to Rigondeaux was only the fourth of his career and nobody has done it since. Landeros has thirty-three losses in his fifty-seven bouts and Rigondeaux is among the mere six to ever stop him...and that's with having, like Beranza, faced loads of mostly unbeaten prospects and eventual contenders.

Then for the last three years straight, from Cordoba on, Rigondeaux has faced seven world class opponents in a row - and not just because they were all world title bouts. There is no weak link in there, just solid titlists and worthy challengers. The problem is by no means soft competition. The problem is that nobody (except for Cordoba and Marroquin to varying degrees, in clear losses) can touch him.

 

anyone with a title....there are enough titlist around he shouldnt be fighting anyone else at this point other than them....

 

Yes, he doesn't throw enough. Agbeko has begging to get knocked out, he just wanted his payday but Rigo just jabbed at him all night.
