i like maidana i really do, his exciting to watch and seems like a class bloke but broner is talented ... he moved up 2 weight divisions and beat malagnaggi who may not be a hard hitter but is a great technical boxer in his own right

Did he hand out a reverse ass beating to Ponce De Leon?

 

Qunitero beat Broner, De Leon beat Broner, feather fisted past prime Paulie almost beat him, he didn't even stop paulie and barely won. Anyone can rip apart a fighters resume, big deal we shall see what happens on Fight night.

All i know is that Broner has done nothing to be a certain winner vs Maidana, he had the edge at SWF and LW, most of his fights were mismatches but at WW its way more even in terms of Power and Physical tools.

If he beats Maidana and looks good then i'll praise him but so far his resume and performances don't equal a fight with Maidana being a mismatch. Its disrespectful to Maidana who apart from the Devon fight (read bad night for him, improved since), has been hard to beat and has hurt every other opponent he has faced.

 

Broner is gonna beat the **** outta Maidana on Saturday and his haters will multiply by 10 because of it.:yep Boner a G:deal

He has the same initials as Andre Berto, who is another hype job, who get's his 'ass beat' every time he faces someone with a pulse no matter how faint that pulse may be Berto (Collazo, Ortiz, Guerrero, Soto Karass) and Broner (Quintero, De Leon, Paulie) :deal

 

Broner will probably win a UD but there's no way in this universe he's putting a "beating" on Maidana. He will cover up and counter

 

This will be a good fight. It's the fork in the road fight for both fighters. Now, I have watched most of Broner's fights and I must say that he can't fight Maidana like he fought any of his previous fights because I believe Maidana would take him if he does. Having said that, I believe he has added some new wrinkles to his fight game because of the company he keeps. As for Maidana, He has shown growth in his boxing game that you can see in his last two fights. He always knew how to fight but now he knows how to box in between the fighting. Their weight, height, and power is about the same. This fight boils down to who wants it more.

 

I just don't think Maidana's got this. hes got serious grit but has some terrible accuracy and at times seems fragile. Josesito was giving him that work before the stoppage, and i thought the stoppage was a little early.

hope i'm wrong but...we'll just have to see.
