Jennings is always interested in fighting people at least until he sees that he won't earn an amount in the range of seven digits. He hasn't done anything special so far in the heavyweight division but thinks he should be paid like a champion...

Might be too soon for Szpilka... he still has a lot to iron out in his game. Id like to see him develop a bit more to be honest. I think he has some good potential if he takes his development seriously and develops a good boxing IQ

I like both these fighters.... but Id favor Jennings to take it if they fight.

Id like to see both progress fighting other opponents, just because I dont want to see either lose right now, but cant lie its a good fight for the division.

    Good post...

The Fedosov fight showed that Jennings can be worn down, and the Tupou fight showed he could be wobbled.

However, both fights showed that he places that UC with PERFECT KO precision. Szpilka will undoubtedly find himself on the canvas at one point or another, and IMO, no ref is gonna let him come off the canvas only to be 1-2'd over and over and over again.

    Jennings TKO6-8.:thumbsup

Szpilka will be dangling his right hand down, Jennings will come in with his chin down while shooting a straight right, kind of like Hopkins. Knockout.

Whoever wins will be established as a bona fide HW contender.

Whoever loses will have a difficult time coming back, unless it's a close competitive fight.

It's nice to see two legitimate prospects take the risk. I'm looking forward to this one.

    Good call:thumbsup

Although Shaw bought Jennings his top 5 ranking this is exactly what they are fighting for. Legitimate contender status.
