You must be joking when you're comparing Byrd and Haye to Ali..... The "similarity with Haye" is dimension only and ends there.

    They fight nothing alike.

They are BOTH 36 years of age so that means equal.

It's very easy for me to see an overconfident Ali not taking Klitschko seriously until it's too late.

    1. Chris Byrd never beat Wladimir K.

    2. I'm not comparing David Haye to Ali, I'm comparing David Haye to 8 professional fights newbie Leon Spinks who did beat Ali out of his title when Ali was 36 years old. Haye has vasts amounts of talent Spinks couldn't touch and when Klitschko was 36 years old he decisively beat Haye.

    3. Watching Ali struggle vs Mildenbarger, Cooper, Norton ( Norton would have a "glass chin" too by today's standards, Quarry, Bugner, Wepner ) I'd say it's a very real possibility WK could win.

  5. I also said that Hay is naturally much more athletic than Muhammad Ali. That much is transparent, and can't be denied by anyone with a semi-working brain.

The fact that Wlad has handled the four fastest heavyweights of his career EASILY bodes well for him in this fight. Byrd, Haye, Chambers, Ibragimov. Haye crouched very low in his fight something Ali never did and that led to some of Wlad's difficulty plus the big punch Haye carries made him fight cautious yet effective againts Haye. Ali doesnt' have such a punch. Styles make fights and I see Wlad posing alot of problems for Ali.

I Was never that impressed with Ali, that's why I think Lewis knocks him out and possibly Wlad also stops him,I'm positive prime Tyson would brutally KO Ali. Ali is most overrated ever.

  8. I doubt Tyson beats Ali. He is probably just as overrated as Ali if not more so. Ali is so highly revered not only among boxing fans, but sports fans not just for his
in ring exploits, but for his out of ring activities and the vibrant persona he put on display for the cameras before walking into each bout. That's cool and all, but Ali's political, and religious stances that have made him such an international icon would bear very little (if at all) when he steps in the ring with someone like Wlad.
Let us not forget that Kenny Norton still outboxed Ali, and even he doesn't possess similar physical dimensions to Klitschko. Ali most likely gets stopped.

Ali takes this. Ali was faster smarter and had a better chin. Wald always had a glass jaw and Ali had enough power to break it.

I can tell that there are some very ignorant posters on this thread. Henry Cooper had Ali out on his feet, the only thing that saved Ali was the fact that Angelo Dundee cut Ali's glove to save him. Vitali or Vladimir Klitschko would have knocked Ali out easily, they are just too big and skilled....................

  13. The nostalgia queers will not listen to such reasoning. They denounce any facts that alter their version of reality.

Yes, I agree. Their blind hatred for the Klitschkos make them totally irrational.

If you are gonna point to Ali before prime getting knocked down by Cooper than surely we can point out Wlad getting his ass handed to him by a golfer?
