    Yup!

Only way to beat Rigo is, CLASSIC MEX BRAWLER!

Applying effective, non stop pressure, high punch output! No way u can outbox Rigo!

Mares and Leo are two of the best pressure fighters and boxers period at 122/126.
They would have to eat alot of counters, but if they can take em... then Rigo in trouble!

Examples of Mex Pressure beating slickness: Margo/Cotto 1, Castillo vs Floyd 1,

Mares just got KTFO and is nothing without his "low blows". Santa Cruz aka Santa Claus is frail and horrible.

I like Mares chances better because he has already shown that style again Moreno. It will be interesting to see.

If Lomachenko turns out to be what we expect, then i consider him to be the only worthy contender. At this point there are nobody present who beat Rigo. They are merely challengers.

Here are two guys that haven't been talked about (or may not know of) that I'd be interesting in seeing Rigo in with. I'd pick Rigo to win but these might have the best chance of finding a way through Rigondeaux's impenetrable defense:

    Shinsuke Yamanaka
    Daniel Rosas

    Yamanaka would KO Rigo.

I'd probably give him a better chance than anybody at 122 or below but I wouldn't pick him outright.

Cotto is not considered slick and Castile lost. I think that Rigs knocks out Mares but I do like Santa Cruz's chances.

Think is about Santa Cruz, he's one of those that tends to break fighters down rather than one punch KO them, and would he be able to get near to Rigo enough times to break him down?

I also don't think Rigo's a massive puncher but he punches hard enough to keep anyone from swinging for the fences.

Santa Cruz looks lean but he is hard as a brick and he adjusts on the fly. He thinks two or three moves ahead and executes them extremely well. He has good reach and a very respectable chin. The young man knows how to rumble. He will make Rigs fight continuously and that's not Rigs comfort zone. Rigs likes to jab and wait to throw an uppercut or left hand, or he will throw a one two and wait to throw a right hook. Cruz is gonna fill up that waiting time with punches and that might be enough to throw Rigs off his game and allow for a very interesting and entertaining fight.
