    Floyds last few KO's / TKO's.....

Ortiz - 2 free shots! Not worth considering.
Hatton - British chin, made out of custard. Floyd needed to use the metal ring post WWE style to hurt him. Pac cracked that egg with a soft straight left.
Mitchell - C level opponant who Floyd frustrated. Connected a soft body shot and Mitchell quits, wasnt hurt
Bruseles - See above, same soft body shot and Bruseles quit
N'dou - Straight right to the face, decent punch, N'dou quits, unhurt.
Corrales - See above, straight right to the face, Corrales off balance, unhurt and quits
Augustus - Soft flurry of punches and ref waves it off, Augustus not hurt
    Juuko - Nice decent KO

These are facts. The Juuko fight was in 1999 at featherweight. Thats 14 years since Floyd has had a proper KO which cannot be criticized. 14 years!!!!!!!! Not a showcase of punching power by any means.

*****s like to say that Floyd doesnt KO people at higher weights, but he was a pillow puncher even at featherweight.

    Dispute

I agree. Put things into perspective, Joe Calzaghe who is notorious on this forum for being a soft puncher, has a KO ratio of 69%. Floyd has a KO ratio of 57% (including the bull$hit ones in my opening thread) and Joe had 1 more fight, fighting bigger guys :deal

Valid opinion, to be the best you have to fight the best. But for the sake of this thread, lets assume Floyd gets remembered as an ATG

Floyd has no punching power whatsoever that's why he is not ATG for me
sugar ray robinson had everything Floyd had but 2 more important things Floyd didn't have a iron chin and knockout power

Very true boxing_master, solid posting, i cant argue with that. It may be unfair to compare him with the P4P #1 ATG though. The Calzaghe comparison is good, as their carreers have gone in a similar path, although i give Joe a slight edge in all departments apart from running.

Can you think of any ATG who is a softer puncher than Floyd?

Floyd isnt feather fisted. He can hurt opponents bigger and stronger then him. Look at his last few fights where Canelo and others were clearly visibly buzzed and hurt by his shots. His power commands respect and thats why fighters are afraid to let loose on him.
The reason he doesnt have more KO/TKOs is because he has brittle hands and doesnt want to follow through and finish his opponent in the fear that he may damage his hand or get caught in an exchange. His whole style is tailored as such to minimise risk. This is why he isnt a KO artist. He is very capable of stopping opponents though.

Not asking for excuses mate, so save it. Floyd has no punching power at all, fact. 14 years without a legit KO, the last of which came at featherweight

What ATG has less punching power than your hero?

Floyd maybe not the most powerful puncher, but he has dead on accuracy to hurt anyone.

IF floyd is featherfisted , why did he hurt oscar twice? Why cant his opponents just crush him then! What does tell you about there attributes?
