By a dope-fuelled fluke punch. And the Mexican-yank still miserably failed to earn the win  Ricky would own Beltran without such a severe hindrance and will definitely send Crawford crying back to yankeeville :hi:

No, not the details. I just said, "some idea of the numbers".

That would just need Billy to state that he knows the facts on what Hearn needed to pay, and say approximately how it compares to past fight of Burns. e.g. "We had to pay 5 times what we normally pay a challenger".

No, not at all. I have no interest in winding up Billy Nelson.

I'm just saying that this fight isn't anything like e.g. F.W. bringing over Kessler for Calzaghe. (Which needed 5 million a piece, and F.W. lost money on.) Or it isn't like Hearn bringing over Bute for Froch.

It's a LW title fight, (normally not big money in boxing terms), he is only bringing over a challenger, and Hearn had a big advantage in negotiations because of the purse split.

It's not anything special to get the fight here.

Or if Billy knows different--knows for a fact--that it was very difficult to keep the fight in the UK, and that they had to pay out much bigger money in comparison to other Burns' fights, then he can just say so.

You do realise FW is incapable of running a business at a profit?

Maybe, but BoxNation hasn't collapsed just yet...

Give it time. Everything else he has done has failed.

The picture quality on Boxnation is absolutely horrendous on a 60" TV. Comparing that with a Sky HD channel it's frightening the difference.

It's quite clear they cannot simply afford to move to HD.

A crispy note on Burns by points might be a wise investment

How many times has Ricky been the underdog before and come out on top? I love it when he's the underdog.

It doesn't seem like it with things like "mop the floor with Burns" and "mid rounds stoppage"? ...hello? he couldn't get Klimov out of there :lol::lol: and hasn't fought anyone on Burns' level, not even close

oh, and what happened to Burns "ducking" Crawford?

I havn't even seen anything from Crawford to say he's even better than the likes of Hank Lundy (another guy who was heavily hyped a few years ago) on a good day, the hype this guy is getting is out of control, what is it with these slick black guys that gets people jizzing all over

It is a step up fight......for Crawford.

He is a good technical fighter but I really think he isn't as good as some on here have made him out to be on what I have seen of him.
