I was willing to give GGG a pass for the previous lackluster matchups that have been made, but enough is enough. I know he's being avoided but you can't tell there me isn't a more viable opponent that wouldn't have stepped into the ring with him.
Yeah continue to watch him feast on no-hopers. Plenty of better fights out there for GGG than this bum.
Yet GGG fights on! With or without your pass, the man fights on. I don't know how GGG finds the strength to fight when you haven't given him your own personal blessing. Golovkin truly is special. We've told you he is avoided. We showed you instances of other fighters avoiding him. You must know more about it than other people on this forum. Why don't you tell us who would've been available(realistically) to fight GGG in Feburary, off HBO?
amusing how so many hate triple G. he's doing nothing but destroy everyone with the guts to face him. i guess sturm and sergio don't think macklin is a top middleweight either. they'll be calling out the G-man any day now to take those belts.
More people posting who know little about boxing. Adama is the IBO mandatory. GGG has to fight him because GGG is the IBO champion and if he doesn't he could be stripped of the IBO belt. Furthermore, Sturm, Geale, Martinez, and Murray (among others) have all ducked fights with GGG--some more than once. He's too good for his own good. When Sturm was WBA champ he refused to fight GGG when GGG was the WBA mandatory. Sturm would have been stripped of the belt had he not lost the belt to Geale. Then Geale refused to fight GGG and he was stripped of the WBA belt for it. Lou DiBella refuses to put Martinez in the ring with GGG. Murray is GGG's WBA mandatory and has turned down the fight at least twice. As a result, GGG has been forced to fight the best people who will actually get in the ring with him and thus his resume is what it is, but all of these champions are refusing fights with him for a reason.
