Stop with the IBO mandatory talk. Nobody, including the IBO even cares about it. The IBO is a supplementary belt that no one really recognizes. They don't even charge sanctioning fees. And for what it's worth, Daniel Geale was the IBO mandatory. Murray, Geale, and Andy Lee were all offered the chance to fight GGG on Feb 1st, and all turned it down (supposedly with HBO prepared to televise). (A week after Adama was announced, Geale says he wants the fight). My only grief was Sergio Mora was not offered/selected. Team Golovkin was looking for another highlite reel bump like they received off the Ishida KO. People knocked Golovkin for fighting Ishida, but the way he KO'd Ishida, it generated a lot of buzz for him.
Murray or Geale on April 26th, patience people. He's keeping active, that's all. Martinez by the end of 2014... but the haters will always find something to cry about, that's ESB.
Another brick in the wall. Adama has no chance, but given the option, I'll always prefer for fighters to stay active than the alternative of fighting nobody. It's prize fighting- you don't get the prize if you don't fight (contrary to one of the Winky Wright School of Boxing Business' guiding principles).
People don't hate Golovkin, they hate his fans because they are the very definition of bandwagon fans. They know little about boxing and according to their logic, if a fighter is a power puncher, then everyone is automatically scared of him and he is unbeatable. Initially, they were all Bute fans, running their mouths and claiming he was the next big thing and then what happened? He got his arse handed to him by Froch and his "fans" like Ol'Bub, Forza and mrdoctor, all jumped ship to Golovkin and Matthyese. Then LM got beaten by Garcia and his "fans" all went quiet and the Golovkin over-hyping reached a all-time pathetic level. I've never seen a fanbase so deluded and pathetic as the Golovkin one. They think every word that comes out of his mouth is the gospel truth. Their claim that everyone is ducking him is false and it shows that they do sweet fck all research and take Golovkin on his word. Golovkin could have fought Thomas Oost and instead he decided to pick on another blown up LMW in Gabriel Rosado. http://www.boxingnews24.com/2012/11...homas-oosthuizen-on-january-19th-in-new-york/ Sergio Mora would have been a better fight than Adama considering he is ranked #10 to Adama's #14 but once again, Golovkin decided to take yet ANOTHER "stay busy fight"; his fans excuse for every tomato can he faces. The fact is f@ggots like Ol'Bub, Forza, Farmboxer, Cafe, christo, LesterProctor, Scott Gilturd and a few other, have turned everyone off Golovkin due to their ridiculous comments on Golovkin and their blatant disrespect to other boxers.
I'm slightly disappointed about the choice of opponent, but I've seen Adama before and he is a good fighter- somewhat similar to Ike Quartey. He might make this an entertaining fight
This is a great fight and the rich and famous get too see heaps of blood and GGG giving out presents..
All hail the Mighty Gennady Golovkin He will show Geale how to dispose of bums like Adama, not go 12 rounds life and death with him like Geale did
So you have resorted to trolling after finding out your hero Geale was not quite as good as you thought he was? You had so much invested in the guy proclaiming he could beat Golovkin and Martinez yet he couldn't even get past the glass jawed bum Darren Barker that's got to hurt son
