When Groves stops moaning for a Froch rematch, who should he actually fight next?

Groves is a smart guy and will probably have thought about other options. Its not the end of the world if he doesn't fight Froch and he is well rated in most of the Super Middle weight belts. I want him to go after Bika (though Degale is higher in the WBC rankings) or Stieglitz, get a belt then a rematch will naturally happen with Froch. But the rematch depends on whether Froch is finished and reties after the 'big' Vegas fight.

Groves has to let Froch make the first move or he will horribly weaken his position.

As for other oppoents Bika or anthony Dirrell.

Groves and Froch would leather either of them at this stage, too early for either.

Smith is going to go far though, bags of potential. Rocky is doing well domestically.

Groves deserves a rematch, fans want to see the rematch, but Froch wants no part of Groves.

He gave him a shot and he couldn't take it.

Froch is the bigger name and the man with the belts; he owes Groves nothing.

Time for everyone to move on :dead

    @el nino
Undefeated Commonwealth title holder he has just knocked out his rival, who many expected to hand Rocky his first 'L', in the first round is a bum?

Sort it out kid, you sound like a pathetic wum.

The biggest fight he is offered or has a chance of getting would be the best move if he cant get the Froch rematch in my opinion. I dont know if a warm up would really be needed, though I dont think he needs another tough fight like he had if he can help it.
If he was offered anything for a world title it would be a good opportunity. He may get a shot at Steiglitz or Bika.
I dont think he will get a shot at Ward, though think Groves could win.
I think all are winnable fights for Groves.
Failing a title shot a beatable top 10 opponent would be a good option also in my opinion or possibly Balzsay

I think dirrell would be a great fight both classy and slick but would fancy groves purely on his punch power. That fight is probably a couple of years down the line as there would be no interest financially at the moment. Bute would be a mismatch, bute made froch look like sugar ray leonard. Kessler would only fight again if it was against froch for the money. Not sure how groves fares on the rankings but surely after that performance he should be able to challenge for a world title very soon

Can't see anyone going out of their way to fight groves, talk about high risk low reward.
