Against Beltran, Burns clearly won the first round but the second was 50/50 with Beltran really hurting Burns by consistently nailing him with hard left hands to the head and body, so even if the second round was when the broken jaw happened, then it was no fluke or stroke of luck, Beltran made it happen by taking advantage of Burns' inefficiencies. After reading Billy's dismissive comments I am now even more confident that Crawford will beat Burns easily.
Mismatch Crawford will school burns horribly Burns will still get the decision though... From them ****ing crooks at match room
This is a winnable fight for Burns. Crawford is a good boxer but has never fought in the trenches or in adversity. Lets she if he has some balls when he has to fight when the going gets tough in a hostile environment he has never experienced before.
Burns will win inside 6 rounds and when he does these forums will be full of people saying Crawford was a hype job and when he unifies the division same will be said of abril and Vasquez. I remember the last really big thing and major talent to come to Britain to thrash the useless british champ, he got schooled fair enough burns is not calazghe but Crawford is definitely no lacy. Easy night for burns no problem.
He is his mandatory. Pretty hard to duck. Although they did have a good go by pushing for the Beltran fight.
I don't think is about 'we don't know how good Crawford actually is' but more about how we do know how poor Burns has looked in his last few fights. If Crawford is even half as good as he is bigged up to be he will probably beat Burns handily.
Please! Abril would box his ears off! There's a reason that, bar this fight, Burns hasn't fought any of the top dogs. Think about it...
Hopefully the dumb british bet shortens the odds to around 50/50 like the Clev fight. Easy, easy money.
Just saying what I see, If I thought Burns was going win then I'd say so. I remember people on here moaning when I said Beltran was no pushover and had a very good chance of beating Burns. A lot of people let their hearts rule their heads and back a fighter to win for no other reason than him coming from the same country they do. I just hope you guys don't bet on these fights
I agree, Bill. I've no doubt that Ricky wants them fights, it's Eddie that I feel is happy to keep him Up North fighting anyone who isn't top 3.
