Pac should sign to GoldenBoy/MoneyTeam

    According to TMZ, BR.

    He owes a grand total of 68 million in taxes. 18 million for the US. And 50 Million for the Philippians.

    TMZ had the year-by-year breakdown on the individual totals Pacquiao owes the IRS:

    2006: $1,160,324.30
    2007: $2,035,992.50
    2008: $2,862,437.11
    2009: $8,022,915.87
    2010: $4,231,999.01

    "Pacquiao, who claims residence in his home country and serves as a congressman, owes the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue $50 million. Because the debt has gone unpaid, Pacquiao and his wife have seen their assets frozen and a lien placed on his property"

    So how can he make that 68 million back? Even if he fights and successful pays the taxes, he still has to have money for his lifestyle.

    I think he NEEDS to sign to GBP. Arum's stable doesnt have the star power to get him that much money outside of Marquez who wont fight him again.

    If he signs to GBP he has potential matchups with Broner, Garcia, Matthysse, Canelo, Ortiz, Maidana, Paulie, Khan, Guerrero, and a bunch of other big name fighters who he will sell with.

    This isnt be trolling, this is simply the best decision he could make for himself and his family.

    Do you think his pride would allow him to move GBP?

    He's really screwed here. He will have to fight well past his prime to pay off his tax debt. He probably can't even buy himself out of his contract with Top Rank which is sad. Pac should have left Bob years ago when he had the chance.

    Nah it wasnt taken care of, this was posted today. Its still there. he applied for an appeal to get his stuff back. thats all.

    Lol yeah they are just Corrupt Americans. All Governments are corrupt. But if he signs to Golden Boy, theres bigger fights available.

    Nope once they have you in their sights you're done. 18 million is a lot. He will have to fight one fight for free or several fights just to pay them off.
