I think Wlad's birthday is around that time. Talk about a birthday present.

Easy work and probably a 5-10 million dollar payday...

The majority believes here that this was Wlad's choice.. though he hadn't even known who Leapai was before WBA announced the fight and gave them a month for negotiation.
And to tell the truth.. there's no other fighter READY to fight Klitschko next. I mean a lot of them are saying that they are ready but when it comes to the point they prefer to postpone this fight. Let's take Wilder.. did his team try to contact K2? Didn't Wlad say he's interested in that fight? But he's negotiating with Fury team. Pulev also said that he wanted to make a title fight only in fall. etc.

So I'm just curious why r u blaming Wlad.. did he avoid anybody?

to the haters on ESB, Wlad can never ever do anything right....... wrong fights, wrong mand fights, etc etc etc

but your statement is right on point:good:good... I know for a fact that what other fighters say to the public are not the same words spoken to K2 when it comes to contracts and fights:deal:deal

The WBO Asia Pacific title is worth a top 10 ranking I think, at least top 15 on it's own anyway. He held some other WBO trinket as well. I'm not totally against decent'ish rankings for these belts. If nothing else it should encourage more matchups between fringe contenders and takes away the rankings based on out and out brides. Manny Charr is the master of collecting these belts.

Hopefully he will fight THREE times this year.

Potential opponents: Pulev his IBF mandatory and Adamek (if he beats Glazkov) for a big event in Poland.

Then there's Arreola, Solis if he beats Thompson (his promoter is willing), Fury, Wilder and perhaps the winner of Jennings-Szpilka.

Well that makes more sense. But what is the WBO thinking allowing such poor opposition fight for these titles and earn a top 10 ranking. I mean Leapai lost to Johnson where is he in the WBO rankings?

The WBO has always been a joke of a title at heavyweight, more so than at the lower weights where champions like Hamed, Eubank, Calzaghe, Barerra gave it some legitimacy.

I'd have more respect for Wlad if he told the WBO to go stuff their title and face a better opponent and face the possibility of being stripped which quite frankly the WBO would be idiots to do.

What's disgraceful is your continuous lying in order to make Wlad look bad. Boytsov was in top 10 at the time of his fight with Lepai, but got dropped down to 55th. You either knew this and lied, as usual, or your ignorant and get your boxing fix through boxrec.

You have no balls. Zero. Zilch.

He popped the cherry of White Tyson 2.0 (whom many were calling the one to conquer K2) -anything's possible. :bbb

Because Boystov wasn't a slightly better Eastern European version of Seth Mitchell. OK, marginally better... but still.

No, he isn't. Wlad fought his main threat in Haye. Mayweather is still avoiding Pacquiao. Also, Wlad didn't take vacations to avoid fighters.

As far as I'm aware, this fight is happening because Pulev wants "one more fight" before he fights Wlad.
