Greetings obvioussalt IMHO Tua doesn't belong on the list inasmuch as other modern heavies could take out opposition just as impressively. Foreman? I'll sort of agree with you but once you got hit with da bomb you were toast. Not to mention, the Young fight was post-Ali after his brain was 'fried'. I won $250 on the Young-Foreman fight, getting 5-1 odds for $50 with a friend. I saw the post-Ali Foreman as someone who could be had with the right comp. I was confident until George landed that bomb in the 7th, but Jimmy hardly was coming back and "kicking George's ass" by the end of the round. Simply, Foreman couldn't land the knockout and, towards the end of the round, Jimmy had his senses, landed some counters and survived. We were just wanting for the bell to sound. Again POST-Ali Foreman which is why I made the bet in the first place. Ali? Obviously a supreme finisher. My $0.02
He knocked Douglas down late in the round. I don`t think it was Tyson screwing up as much as it was fate. Douglas had 60 seconds to recover between rounds and he was in such terrific shape he was able to get his legs back.
Agree with ETM... or me, has to be Louis. Louis had that weird, methodical calmness after he had his man hurt, like a cat playing with a mouse. As as if the fight was already over.
I find the Ali pick ridiculous … He could not stop a injured Patterson that he punched at will till Floyd packed it in six rounds after being knocked down. He punished Terrel at will and could not stop him. He dropped Mildenberger multiple times and took many rounds to stop a vastly outclassed foe. He could not floor a blind Cooper twice. I can go on and on and on … Ali stopped guys almost almost always over a long duration .. a top finisher, absurd.

Louis. I've seen the odd guy escape Maricano, Foreman, and Tyson. But once Louis had somebody even in the slightest bit of trouble, he was all over them, and it was over quickly.
Had it been earlier in the round and had Tyson been in better shape, who knows history may have been changed. Against Holyfield those combinations stunned him in Round 5, a peak Tyson would have jumped in and swarmed all over Holyfield as soon as he smelt blood and got him out of there. However Tyson seemed to be a) out of gas b) sat back and admired his work, and we know how the rest of the fight unfolded.
