^This. I admire Paulie's heart but he's way past his prime. Also, Danny needs to fight legit threats. This fight would just be another Garcia vs Judah or Paulie vs Broner. Paulie's either gonna tire out in the 2nd half or Danny's stopping him early. I'd like to see Garcia fight guys like Porter, Broner or Thurman next. Heck, I'd even welcome a Khan rematch but he refused the offer too many times for it to happen anytime soon.
Very interesting match up, at first glance this would be an awesome splash opportunity for Danny since Porter owns a nice trinket whilst being a smallish ww. Now porter is pretty fleet of foot, durable, unorthodox and has decent pop. Both guys are extremely determined fighters and this could turn into a barn burner quick but would most likely last the full 12 with Danny bleeding and porter hitting the deck at least once.
Malignaggi could outbox him though. Garcia will need his bag of dirty trick for this one. Better bring the low blows and butts to slow him down.?
i can roll with that.one thing i wanna say to all posters is don't expect garcia/broner no time soon.haymon nor gbp is going to try to make that in 14'.
Actually, Pauli is looking better. He did a great job of boxing to beat Judah, not to mention the fact that Pauli beat Broner, but was cheated by Broner's judges............... It is possible that Pauli could out box Garcia, but he has to watch out for Garcia's head butts, low blows, etc., and remember Garcia's referee will help him out as needed.............
No ****. Mattysse fight was so bad I was in shock while watching. When I rewatched it I couldn't believe it. Ridiculous.
I actually agree that Paulie would have a decent chance at beating Danny ,without actually winning the fight:nut...if that makes any sense at all. I'm basically saying that it's very likely that Paulie could outwork and outland Danny by a solid margin and still lose a decision(Diaz I). Contrary to what you posted, Paulie has never been all that hard, he just takes punches really well. Garcia would definitely be landing the harder, more noticeable shots all night and would likely get the nod as a result. I'd probably advise him to go after the IBF belt by challenging Porter directly or making himself the mando by beating Brook.
I can see the tears are still flowing from these Mathysse nuthuggers. Lucas accepted his defeat, its pathetic you whiny bitches can't.
