How does that work Billy. Why do other champions not get pushed for the same, Vlad K being an example?

If it is only the WBO then do they do it with their other belt holders?

    Just curious.

I don't know why Ricky's had to fight 2 s out of 3 fights seems a little unfair but eh we'll get on with it

Strange example seeing as many thought Norton beat Ali 2 out of 3 times...

Burns is getting his arse kicked. Crawford is the best up and coming US fighter, better than Broner.

I think the big guy has done well but @. 17-0 he hasn't fought anyone remotely fit or with any ambition but you can put that down to learning, the crunch will come when he fights someone who will punch back regularly then you'll see hopefully what he's got

Similar to what i was thinking , im hoping to see him in against a better opponent soon maybe a ***ton or a Dallas , a better opponent is definetly needed, i heard Gary is still working as a Joiner so its maybe hard for him with costs for training camps etc , you wonder why no bigger promoters have been on the blower? , be good to get a English vs Scottish Heavyweight clash, im rootin for big Gary whoever he fights

All the best for your next training camp with Ricky and all your other fighters and hope our own man on the scene Phil Goodlad get some good reports for us Shelties :)

    Enjoy :)

I believe this fight is a far easier fight than the talked about rematch! Crawford is pretty skilled but not a massive puncher. I think Ricky will win this

I've said respectfully before about Ricky, there's something nerve racking about him too watch, and his last couple of performances have demonstrated such concern.

I believe he has the fundamental goods alright, I'm just beginning to wonder IF its a pshycological barrier, lack of killer instinct or just simply not hard enough. He can display good boxing and game attack, but seems to me his occassional recklessness is a result of something else going on.

Still I support him and wish him well... he should also give credit to his local & national boxing heritage as Humble Recognition wins plenty of blessings in a deeper realm than claiming superiorty over all past and present.

This IS the True downfall of modern sport, Arrogance n Vanity, not Ricky so much but stupid people around him and trillions of other fighters in this modern age who think 0's and Mickey Mouse titles surplants the Great Masters from the hardest of tried and tested Eras before them.

Go Ricky, but go with that "great cloud of witnesses" before you, and note the difference it brings!

    By outboxing Crawford?....

Not unless he gets two gifts/robberies in a row. :deal

He's going to be beat, and beat with ease. Stop letting your heart rule your head.

Ricky CAN win this one, Will he? I don't know but I hope he gets back to his boxing skills rather than this go winging in to try and please the crowd attitude that he seems to have developed in his last 2 fights.

This is a good point and something I'm interested to know if Billy has agreed with this and have they spoken about it.

    Billy?
