Difference between PBF's Gatti and Rigo's Agbeko and why Rigo is boring

The PBF version of Floyd Mayweather Jr. versus Gatti was so brilliant and an exciting masterpiece the way he schooled Gatti and pick him apart round by round with Gatti not being able to even punch back of fear of being countered.

PBF actually made it exciting with his beautiful combos, left hook, feinting w/ pull counters and did it with quick cat like twitches and kept on punching Gatti with great speed and accuracy. Don't forget the prime leaping left hook of PBF, wow that was a thing of beauty!!!!!!!!!

Now Compare that to Rigo vs Agbeko??? Don't get me wrong, Rigo schooled and outbox Agbeko so easy but he wasn't exciting doing it since he was just satisfied on just outpointing Agebko w/o being flashy.

The fight that I did enjoy though was Rigo against Donaire. Rigo showed beautiful boxing in that one but compared to Agbeko it was just boring.

See the difference between the two defensive slicksters and how one is actually exciting to watch and the other isn't that much?

Rigo is a technical master. I admire his work, but its easy to see his entertainment value is subpar.

I really don't think Rigo knows how to put on that type of offensive performance. He has been doing the same thing for so long, he may not know how to change for betterment of his professional career.

That's true, his technical boxing is A+, one of the best for sure, but for entertainment value, he needs to learn especially if he wants to make money since this is prize fighting after all.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate Rigo's boxing skills, just cool to watch and it's like he was born to do this and its second nature to him, but it's just that Pre 2007 PBF is a lot more exciting to watch inside the ring the way he outboxes you.
