Hi everyone, long story short when I was 13 boxing was my life had a few fights won then it kind of took a back seat. I ended up getting into the wrong crowd and getting stabbed and yeh just shitty things. The beginning of this year I boxed at St Pancras for around 5 months and I was training everyday and took it very seriously and they made me spar against the older heavier men which I didn't mind but I usally got beat up whilst the kids my age the trainers would be easier on, This ended up with me being KOd but it dosn't really matter because I guess it was just a compliment to my talent. Unfortinatly I have started smoking again cigs and weed for the last 6 months and havn't boxed at all but 2014 that will all change, I turn 16 in jan and am looking to get into boxing again and I am going to take it very, very seirously as it is the only thing I have ever had any prospect in my life. ^ Sorry about that just had to blow of some steam atsch I am currently living in Beckenham SE London and come 2014 I plan on devoting my existance to Boxing and starting my Intense schedule at a new club, that's where I need you guys help, what club do you think will be best suited to train/fight for and will help me get back on my feet and back to being fighting fit again and continue to help my skills sharpen and my talent grow , and also isn't that far of a travel Thanks a lot guys
Check out double jab ABC in New Cross, 4 dedicated coaches and a good number of lads spanning different ages/experience/weight so always a fair amount of good sparring. Good atmosphere in the gym but a proper gym nonetheless. Check out the Facebook page!
Can't help with any clubs mate but good luck to you in 2014, just hope you stick with it and try and keep on the straight and narrow. Turning point in your life mate at 16, ur decisions will make or break u at that age, choose the right ones

Palmers is in the trading estate near Bellingham station. Newish looking gym, Has had a few boxers fight over last year. Just another shout for Nozza seeing as he's in Beckenham which is only down road from Bellingham really.
Trained there on an off for a few years. Most of the coaches from the original double jab in Forest Hill moved over. How do you guys know the gym out of interest?
