"If he makes a mistake and I have a chance to get him out of there I’m going to get him out of there. If I just beat him to death, then I beat him to death," Broner said.

“It’s going to be a hell of a fight. I don’t go for knockouts but I really feel I’m going to knock this guy out; I’m going to be his first stoppage. I’m going to stop this guy and we’re going to move on to the next one.

"Maidana is a good fighter, a hell of a fighter, but he’s not on my level. My career is going to the rooftop. It’s going to skyrocket. But this is just the beginning. It starts here."

    Is that possible?
but he couldnt knock out Malignaggi.

Broner one of the best finishers in the sport. if he has you hurt, he's gonna get you out of there.

Paulie is crafty with great movement. i noticed he did a great job of rolling with the punches which decreased the impact of broners shots. that said, Paulie fights nothing like Maidana. he was in survival mode from the 1st round on.

Maidana will be there to be hit.

a KO is always possible, but in this case its unlikely. I don't think Broner's power carried over to WW.

come on now, Josesito, Alexander, and Karass had Maidana in serious trouble in their fights. but none were great finishers.

though broner didn't have Paulie in trouble, it's clear that he still has plenty of pop in his punches..

Yeah he said this about Rees aswell, I believe Gavin is still alive and well playing golf somewhere

Funny story, Broner walked up to Gavin post press conference and tried to act the "Gangsta".

His phone fell out of his pocket and smashed, leaving the Rees camp in stitches :lol::lol::lol:

    Broner ain't KO-ing Maidana, that's for sure.
He will school Maidana, get him hurt a couple of times, but I don't think he has stopping power at this weight.

Maidana can be hurt and Broner has the style to just put punches on him til he goes down or it has to be stopped. I think he'll be wary of Maidana's power though. I'm calling a Maidana KO just because it would make me super happy.

Broner looked good two/three weight classes lower where he fought guys who looked like kids next to him (Rees, PDL, Escobedo, Perez). He's fast & accurate and that's why his punches look sharp.

He stands there & gets hit, he has shitty footwork and he doesn't like pressure. He's looked very average vs Malignaggi who managed to silence him with his feather fisted jabs...

Wait until he beats Maidana before you hype him any more
