    too many hypocrites here.

if boystov beat leapai, people would be fine with wlad facing him next. considering the rest of contenders don't look up to it, he would have been acceptable.

now leapai beat him, alex is not credible?

    c'mon, get serious.

If you actually think that Leapai deserves a shot then you are the goose.

I agree with this. Boytsov vs. Leapai should have been a gateway eliminator, not a final.

Boytsov for all his vaunted potential didn't bring any major recent credentials to get ushered straight into a title shot just for beating Leapai. The fact that it was the underdog who came out just drives home the point that one more buffer match was needed; a final eliminator versus someone no lower than 8th or 9th ranked (certainly within ten) so as to ensure the mandatory spot was thoroughly earned.

Sorry but you've been mixing up and serving the K2 kool-aid too long. You might claim K2 doesn't pull strings (of course you're going to say this, you'd lose your job otherwise) but what the public and people that have been following the sport far longer than you actually sees happening suggests otherwise. You offer no substantial proof to back up that they don't, other than your "I say so, so it's not true".

    :good:good

    Yes it is absolut laughable.

Boytsov lost to Leapai, Leapai won with his fist not with a promoter or something else. Only with the fist.

    True boxing warrior!

He deserves the WBO Mandatory and a Champ have to fight a mandatory.

And to blame The Champ to fight the mandatory is more than :patsch:patsch

Like I said earlier, you have no balls. No MAN would continuously lie, even on the internet, obsessed over someone they don't know. That's a woman's job and you're doing it nicely.

    Boytsov: #1 WBO

He was in top 10 ring magazine, top 10 boxrec, prior to his forced break from boxing due to his shattered hand. When he returned he had a bad deal with his german promoters, forcing him to fight cans and wait for his contract to expire, which in turn made him drop in rating.

At the moment, just by getting this win, Leapai deserved the shot at Klitschko more than anyone else. More than Wilder, more than Fury, more than anyone, because he went into a lion's den, fully expecting to be robbed by the judges, facing off against an undefeated, well backed contender, and still winning, despite all odds. Klitschko will knock him out but he deserved his cool $mil.

Of course they pull strings. They wanted to fight Boytsov because he is a young, undefeated knockout artist, well known in germany. Then along came Leapai and ruined everything for everybody.

Klitschkos do not control the WBO. Leapai managed to beat the #1 WBO contender, so now he is the mandatory. Unlike Wilder who has never fought anyone nearly ranked, yet the WBC gave Wilder #3 WBC ranking for not beating anyone ranked. I do not hear anyone complaining about that.......Vlad would have knocked Boytsov out, same as he will knock Leapai out.

But why didn't the WBO ever enforce a mandatory defense against Boytsov when he was in that position for quite some time? No they wait until some domestic level Aussie wins the lottery to enforce a defense. Wlad is declining, but perhaps he can manage to look good against this no-hoper.

How many other times have the WBO top 10 fought each other, specifically with one of the two being ranked No.1?

But the fight was not an eliminator and if it was then it should have been between two top 2 ranked heavies by the WBO not the 1st and 8th.

Fact is the WBO did not enforce their mandatory of 3 years and 9 months, why did they not force a mandatory prior to this or organise an eliminator. Boystov saw a journeymen in Leapai ranked in the top 10 and saw it as an easy fight. Wlad is now doing the same seeing an easy mandatory and taking the fight.

Fact is in recent years Wlad best opponents have been his mandatory opponents. Povetkin and Thompson and next year Pulev. His voluntary defences have been against pitifully poor opposition. The fact he has actually gotten such as easy mandatory makes it easier to defend this fight being made but it does not make it a good fight.

    Ask Mr. Sauerland!

It was a stay busy fight for Boytsov. They believe it was.

But Leapai won and deserve to be the Mandatory.

This time a boxer won only with his fists and ESB is crying.

    Cannot believe it.

He's had 3 years of stay busy fights against nobodies because the WBO clearly was not going to give him his shot, and Boytsov screwed up by not preparing for the fight. Why as soon as Leapai wins the WBO "votes" to order a fight against Wlad? Good old boxing politics and K2 has a history of manipulation.
