It comes down to one huge difference... ring size. If they were fighting in the same rat cage Lara had to fight Angulo in, I would like Mannys odds of looking REALLY good. One step is all it takes to cut off the ring. I have been in probably 3 different sized rings and I guarantee it makes a difference. Floyd vs Oscar is another example. Oscar was the A side and chose ring size. Floyd would not allow that to happen. He is the shot callere here and its his right to do so. If the shoe was on the other foot, you can bet Manny would ask for a small ring. Floyd will go down in history as the better fighter, but both have several questionable fighters on their resume. Why not fight a shot Mosley or Cotto instead of a Lara? Unfortunately big $ fights arent always the best fights. It sucks
They could fight in a phone booth and it would'nt make a difference. Mayweather is naturally the bigger fighter and he's a much better at fighting at close quarters than Pacquiao anyways. A bigger ring may actuallly end up benefiting Pacquiao, he needs that space to charge in and keep his feet moving herky jerky style. Does'nt make much differnce imo anyways, Mayweather toys with him now, yesterday and tommorow.
Mayweather would embarrass Pacquiao. As long as Floyd doesn't get caught. He'll win a UD or late TKO.He might be the first boxer to look pretty after fighting Pacquiao. I don't like it when people say Mayweather would have always beaten Pacquaio easily. In 2009 is was a close fight hard to call. As time goes on obviously the advantage is more and more for Mayweather

Think about the judges for a second... If Pac was throwing (not even necessarily landing) against Floyd you don't think Judges may be swayed like they were with say a Paul Williams. Floyd will be excellent, we know this, but Manny would force Floyd to exchange more and that gives opportunities to Manny. With Guerrero, Floyd was moving all the time and Robert couldn't catch him.

Pac will not be that active because Mayweather has a way of neutralizing fighters best weapons. Mayweather will force to not throw as he would like to b/c of the countering ability of Mayweather.
