He was damn fine, competitive and took better shots than expected to boot.
That was nowhere near to decline in performance that going off gear produces.

    Rios sucks.

He's missed weight twice in his career.

And now he tests positive... great.

What is a banned substance ?
Is there a list for banned substances ?
What substance, training aids can you you use ?
If they sell it at GNC Health Foods can you use it ?

Many athletes, boxers etc, are using energy drinks of sorts , ie: 5 hr energy, monster. NOS (nitric oxide/creatine/caffine mixtures), whey proteins / amino acid supplements, ventolin inhalers etc.

What is OK and what is not?
Where do we draw the line and who draws this line?

Lists are available on website of whichever governing or regulatory body you are concerned with. No, just because they sell it at GNC does not mean it is legal for your particular sport.

Not all substances are banned due to unfair advantages, many are banned because they are determined to pose a possible health risk. Elite level athletes typically have to be very careful about what they ingest, as a good many GNC level supplements and even some OTC remedies can cause a failed test.

    Google USADA for extended info.

Wow. Rios looked like a fool in the fight, and he pissed dirty. He's a scumbag. Seems to be alot of those floating around in Garcia's gym. Maidana is the only one that I like over there. I hope Ariza's not around him.

Rios is a cheater, he needs to be banned. Fool was fighting at 135 and 140 and failed to make weight for them. Now he moves up to 147 and still has a hard time making weight. Rios is lazy and you can tell he eats McDonalds all the time.
