Bowe is pretty overrated himself... He got retired by the foul pole... One of the most notorious quitter, and one of the most mentally fragile prizefighters in the history of the sport  :rofl

Vitali would eat Bowe up... It would be a one sided beat down, and Bowes corner would be forced to throw the towel in.

Golota ended Bowe's career...........................Eddie Futch refused to even train Bowe for the rematch..............

    Vitali would destroy Bowe.................

Vitali wins on points. Bowe looked great against smaller men who could not trade with the bigger Bowe but we've seen Bowe struggle with guys that could move a bit and jab. Biggs, Tubbs, Golota, Holyfield in the 2nd fight. Bowe had very slow feet when he had to chase an opponent he struggled.

Barring a cut Vitali out points Bowe, too good on the outside and too active. Bowe of course will be very competitive he was a great fighter for a very short period of time, he would be in control on inside but Vitali would hold and smother when he had to and create range when he had to, to earn a hard fought win.

Prime for prime, Vitali would kick his ass, if Bowe would even fight him, he was scared if Lennox, lol..
I wish they could both come out of retirement and fight now, Vitaly would beat the living **** out of him..

Both Golota and Bowe were far more well rounded fighters than Vitali.

Well Past it Golota had nowhere near the amout of trouble against Byrd like Vitali had. Golota even got an unofficial knock down. Vitali looked like a fool fighting Byrd.

A prime sound minded Golota would of out classed Vitali and so would prime Bowe.

Bowe would not of lost to the stumbling buffoon Lewis in his last ever fight.
Prime Bowe fighting and beating Holyfield. One of the best boxers of all time.
Vitali only ever went up against faded greatness and got destroyed.

Bowe and Eddie Fuch would have no trouble at all against a stiff arm puncher with zero defence. Bowe at his best displayed the most complete set of skills of all the SHWs if only for a short time.
On his best day Vitali would be no match.

This thread brought out all the people who know nothing about box. Way to go guys.

Vitali was definitely better in terms of longevity, dedication and mindset, no question. He at least was once a dedicated athlete of the highest commitment, whatever shambles he has become now, and always gave 120% back then.

H2H Bowe gives Vitali a lot of problems though I doubt he stops granite Vits chin. Vit may lose by TKO though, more likely absorbing the battering for 12 rounds and giving back some hell but not enough accuracy to win. Perhaps Vitali has a chance of a points win but theres simply no evidence to back him up for a win against a top HW - the reason I cant rule a Vits chance out is that Bowe didn't always win against top big HWs.

Prime for prime I mean of course.

Hard to say, I gotta go with a prime Bowe to pull it out I feel he'd out jab and out fight Klitschko eventually getting the fight to mid range and clubbing Klitschko to death.

Are you claiming that Sam Peter destroyed Vitali Klitschko????
    Arreola???? Corrie Sanders???? Danny Williams??????

IMO Vitali is 44-1 against the like of Bowe.

He's 0-1 losing on cuts, while leading 4-2 against a guy on Ali's, Wlads, Foreman's, prime Tyson's, prime Holmes, Joe Louis's, Marciano's, and his own level.

Or are you implying that Bowe is the GOAT at HW. B/C the only guy who ever won multiple rds of Vitali is the GOAT at HW. So in your mind Bowe<<<<<the GOAT.:huh:huh:huh:huh

[/quote] why period, vitalis only bowe level opps is Lewis, allowing for his age which takes down a bit below bowe prime level. Spot on.

I think what you mean in ignoring this is you are admitting that you are a klittard. I cant see the problem with me deducing from both Bowes and Vits strengths and weaknesses, and clearly showing where each is superior. Are you not able to make an appraisal like that?

And why does the 6'5 260lb Bowe get so much credit for winning 2 fights against a 6'1 210 lb Holyfield.

Yes, Holyfield, like VITALI had an insane longevity at HW. INSANE. He was a top 10 HW from 1992-2004. A 12 yr prime. That is f/n incredible. But for some reason, just b/c he had a very similar style to Bowe, and Bowe being the MUCH larger man, beat him at his own game, Bowe is suddenly an ATG type.

Hell, Tommy Morrison woulda probably beaten him. Golota, if he could place his body punches better, DEFINITELY woulda beaten him 2X....and Golota was always a chinny fighter with little heart.

Bowes signature wins were fighting his "MINI-ME". Aside from those wins, Bowe's resume is far worse than Vitali's and Vitali missed 4 freaking PRIME yrs with back trouble.

Vitali DOMINATES Bowe from bell til count. PERIOD!
