I still think Pulev fights in an amateur style, bolt upright and is wide open to hooks from the guys who are much taller than him with longer arms and boxing ability like Wlad, Fury, Wilder etc.

He has great footwork, a good jab (on a squat frame with not particularly long levers) and a great chin (despite the flash KD).

BUT: I just don't see how without real power he will beat these much taller, longer, harder hitting guys

He's 6'5" (Hardly short) and is and outweighs them bar Fury

Their also not much taller like your making them out to b, Wlad is a shade over 6'6", Fury is about 6'7" and no way is Wilder his listed height of 6'8" he's about 6'5/6

How can you call that a knockdown as well, Pulev was purposely showing he was not dazed at all by standing on one leg.

Also saying that stupid **** like "Arreola stopped this guy in 1 so Arreola > Pulev" Thats like saying Price KO1 McD > Fury Gift dec McD.

I like Fury, look at my other threads on him, but he clearly ducked Pulev, and don't give me that money ****, a fight with Pulev on Sauerlands ground would not only give him a tasty check, but put him straight in line for a Wlad fight in summer if he was to win. (Which you seem confident he would)

 

I agree with your entire post except the part about Fury and Pulev.

Fury don't need Pulev to fight Wlad or Vitali or anyone else. The kids puts @sses in seats, and @sses on couches watching him fight.

He declined a fight with Pulev, true. But it werent b/c of fear, but b/c he could make a half mil fighting the likes of Audely in UK. He'd get less than 100K to fight Pulev any other place on the planet.

Fury was counting on a fight with Haye, which is more than Pulev has aspired to. But, I don't think Fury < Pulev....... it's just he's the faaaaaaaarrrrr bigger draw.

 

That was a legit knockdown. He was just a little bit off balance and felt. Had nothing to do with his chin nor he was hurt.

 

So you knock 2" off Fury, Wlad and Wilder's heights BUT add 1" to Pulev's

Arguing about height is tedious.

But I think if you look at the pause of tonight's opponent who is 6'3 compared to Pulev's, cough, 6'5 then you'll forgive me with what you have said in relation to this with a pinch of salt :good

Fury, Wlad and Wilder are all noticeably taller than Pulev with longer arms.

Whether you want to admit it or not, they ALL have big advantages in this area.

I don't understand why he don't just talk himself into a title shot, let's be serious even as a big fan of Haye and Audley they both didn't earn there shots from taking on the top guys, Haye beat Barrett and Audley beat Sprott.

Even if Fury doesn't fancy the Wlad fight and Vit decides to retire, he could talk his way into a fight vs Stiverne for the vacant title, Stiverne's having all sorts of promotional issues and there's a good chance Hennesey can win the purse bid to put it in Manchester, I'd rather see that than the Arreola rematch.

That pick is Pulev face to face with 6'4½" Walker.

 

wilder is 6'7, wlad is 6'6, fury is 6'9, he's a ****ing giant; there are photos of him in the sparring camp with wlad, and he is 3 inches taller.
Pulev doesn't lack power, he lacks defence.
He is always open, he relies too much on his sense of distance.
Overall he's good, but nowere enough to beat Wlad.
Only Tyson Fury, as of now, would have a good chance.
