Eh, maybe. James was offered a shot way back after Martinez won Williams II. He turned it down.

I hope K2 can land him the big fights he deserves as well. In the meantime, the important thing is that GGG's doing his part - as long as he keeps bringing HBO the ratings they crave, they'll back him. When you consider how unknown he was here a little over a year ago going into the Proksa fight and what he's done for the network since then, he's on the right path. :thumbsup

Why isn't Sergio fighting one of these?

Would you prefer Bundrage or Ishe Smith?

Andrade wouldn't take it, too much risk at his stage of progression. Other champs are @ Showtime.

    Injuries?!??

Yup. I'll tune into his fights no matter what so that's all that matters. I just can't wait till he actually gets that first huge fight.

GGG knocks him out in the 1st round. Pointless fight.

You're dreaming, I doubt Mandingo makes it through the 3 rd rd. Gennady is too skilled and too much power, Kirkland is a bit on the chiny side.

That fight would have very high ratings. Ishida knocked Kirkland out in the very first round. Golovkin knocked Ishida through the ropes and out cold in the third round......................Golovkin's camp would rather fight Quillin, Martinez, but Quillin refused to fight him at any price. Martinez will be out of boxing until June...........
