The body punching was key, but the not jab call was just weird and did not make sense.

Truth, Broner was just overrated by a few. Marcos, would have won no matter the trainer.

Not just this fight but he completely revigorated Maidana's career.

Marcos mentioned he even contemplated retiring after the Alexander fight.

    It does actually.

Broner draws the counter right hand after a missed jab.

He was landing jabs when he throw them, and very rarely getting countered clean.

I see new wrinkles in Maidana's game. With his new found jab, he's more dangerous now than he ever was. BiG props to Garcia. Excellent game plan. Kind of simple really, maul the inactive fighter.

I love how Maidana was setting up the left hook with the jab to the body. They looked identical.

I think it's more than that Maidana is far from perfect but he's better than he used to be

Garcia gets a lot of credit. he's got Maidana near to what he was during the Khan fight.

it looked all over for Marcos after the hug fest from Alexander, but he's got himself back near the top by bring a jab to his game.

didn't use it too well tonight in the way he should have, but he still had too much for Broner.

The tactics Maidana used were definitely not entirely his own idea...I think Garcia saw the weaknesses in Broner's imitation style and drilled the right exploitation techniques into Maidana.
