Big ego + immaturity + disrispect for everything except his ego.

 

He didn't know how to use his personality. He's a good boxer, not great, but what got him here is his bravado and he just didn't know how to turn it on and off. When he needed to turn it on, he turned it too loud and when he needed to turn it off, he turned it even louder.

I wanted to see the guy fulfill his talk simply because he would be a nice dude to have around the scene as it's in a transition point, but seeing Maidana not just outwork him, but flat out beat him has me happy. Maidana has paid his dues, taken his losses, lumps and trials and tribulations and rose to become better. Broner? We'll see, but I highly doubt he'll come back stronger.

 

He tries way too hard to say memorable phrases but they're memorable because they are so stupid

"i get more phone calls than a drug dealer in his mom's basement"

"call me the can-man, anyone can get it"

"throw me in the jungle with boxing gloves and i'll come out with a mink coat"

 

Because he's black.

his charecter is shyt. like hes all the way at the top and hes not. he has no respect. im glad he lost today cus now i wanna see if it humbled him a bit.
