he doesn't use the shoulder roll to its full potential like floyd sr said

    doesn't know how to adjust
    poor footwork
leans back that leaves him off balance
reaches when he tries to parry shots (mostly his right which leaves it open for left hooks)
doesn't roll his left shoulder against right hands

    he's too predictable
    left hooks are too wide
    he always counters with right
    right uppercuts in the inside
    leads with the straight right

Remember, imitation is the sincerest form off flattery! He is flawed, and he believes his own publicity too much.

floyd, learned these tricks & more from childhood man! These imitators, cannot be changed now. These guys problems are thus, they and there trainers have not mastered the fundamentals or the mental capacity to implement them.

Broner's biggest problem is his punch output.

Broner's shoulder roll is too square on.

He needs to fix that issues and start moving his feet more.
Broner can't stay stationary against big punchers, so he needs to learn how to adapt.
I think Mayweather even said after Broners last fight that he needed to move his feet more - obviously Broner didn't listen, he should've.

i believed mayweather called him flat footed. they brought that up with broner in the post fight interview and he dodged the question.

Anybody can be a trainer, but can anybody be a teacher. Thats the difference folks, you gotta work at mastering your craft!

He has no defense. Broner only looks good when guys stand in front of him. He also has no answer for anyone that has an educated left hand(Ponce De Leon, Paulie, and Maidana).

He's always been a poor imitation of an old faded Mayweather. Broner does have some talent, he has fast hands and picks his shots nicely and throws nice combinations but for someone basing his style on a defensive master his defence is very one dimensional.

He just basically learned how to do an imitation of the shoulder roll but never really learned how to use it properly. He too often finds himself tucked up with all his weight on his back foot unable to do anything.

His footwork is terrible he needs to be in position to do anything with his feet rooted. This makes him too immobile which why guys that moved well previously gave him problems.

Against Maidana his poor footwork made it impossible for him to create space and time to set and get his shots off. Even when he was able to throw his poor work rate meant he could never discourage Maidana from walking him down because once he stopped throwing he had nothing to stop Maidana from walking through him as his footwork prevented him from keeping him at a distance.

Problems are punch output, footwork, very stiff version of shoulder roll
