Another arrogant, loud-mouthed, American, Floyd Mayweather, Hype-Job wannabe out of there!

I knew he'd be found out as soon as he faced someone live when he moved up in weight.

Who's next for both fighters though?

Broner will fight some tune ups at 140-147. Maidana will face Danny Garcia or Paulie.

All the excuses are coming out....147...on "tour" till recently...took Maidana too lightly yada yada.

A definite case of "be humble or be humbled" for the Gary Coleman lookalike.

Malignaggi was the first to find Broner out, got robbed. Maidana made sure the judges couldn't rob him, as much as the ref tried.

I think Ponce de Leon would beg to differ...;)

As for Broner, he is playing the villain, and looking at this board it is working. Eubank Snr made a ton of dosh doing so, ditto Bugner, Broner is following a tradition fairly successfully.

The secret for Broner is for him to make people want to pay to see him lose again...

This is very true. The only thing I'd say is that Broner lacks the intelligence and self awareness to fully comprehend the strategy.. :D

TBF to Broner he usually has a smile on his face when hes talking trash rather then trying to be menacing or anything like that so i havent personally been desperate to see him lose although it was clear it was coming. The kid is young and from the ghetto and he is following the tried and tested route interms of this persona to get the money/attention that most fighters dream of- we would all do the same to provide for our families. This beating could be good for him in the long run interms of him taking the game more seriously or it could finish him...be interesting to see what he is truly made of now.

Broner has the talent and is physically tough but his mentality is all wrong and he needs to be himself. I don't think he should have jumped straight to welterweight either, that was a mistake. I'm glad he lost, hopefully now he puts his head down and makes the most of the talent he has and as I said he needs to be his own man, not a cheap copy.

I honestly reckon there are at least 15 boxers in the WW/JWW divisions who would beat Broner.

He has no footwork, his work rate is awful and his power isn't all that.
