and instead of storming off and crying, he gave a sporting interview and admitted he was bested by the better man

Broner reminds me of the kid who huffs because he doesn't get the toffee sweet rather than the caramel one

Lacy is a true warrior and was beaten by the greatest in the history of his weight class. No dishonor in that

Lacy wad the talent to be a great fighter, but Joe took his soul.:?

Correct- and Lacy was in with a much better fighter, so I don't even know why people are comparing the two. Broner is a much bigger hype job.

I've got to say though it was probably wise for him to storm out. You know he would've said something stupid in the interview.

Don't know how this relates......at all......

Although Broner was in there with a harder hitter(relatively), against a guy at a higher weight class than he had made his bones, Lacy was in there with a better fighter.

Also, Lacy is a classier individual by far in terms of his sportsmanship.

    Super middleweight - 168

    --------

Lacy got his ass kicked by an ATG (H2H), Broner got his f'ed up by a decent fighter with good power.

Calzaghe wasn`t even the best super middleweight from the UK.

The fight was at Super middle.. Calzaghe is the best there.

BUT you can make a case for Joe being the greatest LHW of all time on head to head :D

I can't think of a LHW that can beat Joe... maybe Moorer...puncher's chance.

Lacy was treated too harshly. He also lost to a great fighter in Calzaghe. Heard hes doing ok now and making a comeback. Lets see
