A.B. tasted chino's power and still decided to stand toe to toe with him (stupid move). Also, stafford kept advising broner TO WALK CHINO DOWN, which i didn't understand.

so, hypothetical....with adrien's decent athleticism, from what you guys have seen, does broner have the ability to (in a IMMEDIATE NEXT FIGHT REMATCH):

ABANDON THE SHOULDER THE ROLL, and work behind the jab and throw at angles. I know broner is frugal in his punch output, so does he have the footwork (another big question) to maneuver and throw his choice punches? IF NOT then its safe to say any high volume puncher beats him.

because for all the talk of being able to make adjustments, broner shouldnt make any yesterday...

He pretty much abandon the shoulder roll against Maidana when he found himself up **** creek.

its tuff to think wut will happen if a rematch takes place. when punches start getting thrown by both fighters thats when broner gets cracked.

wen broner isnt getting pumbled its because hes on the defense yes he picks his shots and there powerful an effective but if he doesnt throw alot against a powerful active puncher the punch out put alone will lose broner the fight again.

if paulie had decent pop he would have won the fight.

broners only chance is to really catch maidana and to knock him out. but maidana gets better if u knock him down...

the key for broner to win the rematch if it happens is FOOTWORK sumthing hes lackng badly

and if the rematch does happen maidana just needs to make sure u doesnt get knocked and is ready to go a full 12 rds.

if broner goes in there and trys to box his ears off with good footwork and defense which is the right gameplan however is broner trys to box his ears off with good footwork n defense maidana is gunna be stalking him down relentlessly and broner is gunna be getting ran down all night long cuz his footwork is bull****.

a good boxer would stop maidana in his tracks for example danny garcia. all that forward momentum maidana bring at u garcia would turn all that force that maidana comes at u with around on him with good footwork and that harder u come at him the more ur gunna pay.

    garcia/maidana is a great fight... i still like gardia/paulie or paulie/maidan..

theres so many good fights at 147. porter/paulie, thurman/paulie thurman/maidana ,porter/maidana the list goes on and on thurman/porter

a good fight for broner is broner/soto-karass

In a rematch, Broner would have to come forward earlier, and also use some lateral movement. He would also need to use that shoulder roll less and be more prepared for that left hook. It's a tall task, but it's possible that he could pull it off.

Broner's defense and footwork is way too shitty. He gets tagged cleanly and repeatedly to his head and he has zero defense to body punches. He showed these same flaws in his fight against PDL years ago, so I highly doubt he'll suddenly transform into a complete fighter overnight. His only chance is to catch Maidana with something he doesn't see coming like a sneaky uppercut. But as Cippi pointed out, Maidana usually comes back stronger after getting dropped.

Broner pretty much fought his fight and got his ass handed to him anyways.

Maidana kept throwing that looping right that would go right through Broner's shoulder defense.
Those looping shots were key, and there's really not much Broner can do differently imo to counteract it.

Not once in the fight did Broner really hurt Maidana with a shot, so it shows me that if Broner does'nt have the power to hurt Maidana, he's never going to outwork him.

The reality is that Broner last night officially became a "never was."

Round 3 was a Maidana round, he out landed and outworked him, like it most rounds. Most you could give Broner is 4 rounds, i gave him 3.

No rematch needed! It was a definite asskicking. Maidana should move on
to other high profile fights and Broner goes back to the back of the line.

If there wasn't a rematch clause then I think Maidana should move on to bigger and better fights. Broner got his ass waxed and he needs to fight his way back into contention. He bit off more than he could chew.

How? It wasn't close. Guys involved in close fights are tied to the hip. This wasn't close.
