    Holyfield.

He was an undersized Heavyweight that ruled the land of the giants.

Holyfield had the ability to bounce back and score improbable wins against heavy favourites. Knocked out Buster Douglas with one punch. Wins over Holmes and Foreman, even though they was old, he has two victories over top-10 all-time heavyweights. He almost got Lewis in the rematch and his two wins over Tyson. Add in wins against Michael Dokes, an upset rematch win over Riddick Bowe, Ray Mercer, Michael Moorer (in another rematch), John Ruiz, and Hasim Rahman and you have one of the most complete resumes in history.

Are you saying that LL beat a better Tyson than Holy did ?

And Holyfield never got knocked the **** out by the likes of Oliver. McCall in 2 rds or a Hassem Rahman.. Holyfield was not only a better champ he had a better resume than all the guys you listed !

Head to head, best version of Lewis wipes the floor with best version of Holyfield.

However all things considered Holyfield is slightly above Lewis on ATG lists.

It has to be Lennox Lewis or either Klitschko (Wladimir more likely). It would not be wrong to pick either of the 3 as the best in my opinion.

As someone else already said, Holyfield, Tyson and Bowe would be the "second tier" out of the 6. Tyson was doing well until the Douglas fight but many felt (including me) that his career was manufactured and that it was a matter of time someone drags him back to reality. Holyfield wasn't a "dominant champion" in my opinion but he was still very skilled boxer who could make it tough for anyone at the time. Bowe was perhaps the most skilled and gifted out of the 3 but he has only himself to blame for a downfall of his career. He also avoided Lennox and I felt that Lewis would have beaten him anytime they fought. Same for Tyson.

Nearly lost to all of them  Please he was never KO ed by any of them like Lewis was .And Rahman is far from an excellent boxer who also lost to Ruiz ..McCall was decent at best ! And Holyfield avenged his loss to Moorer or did you forget that ?

Holyfield's lost because he fought everyone and anyone ! Your bound to have a few losses when you fight the best ! You act like LL racked up win after win against guys at their best ? How does LL do against the likes of Moorer ? Or Bowe ? The guy barley gets by Ray Mercer yet he was the best HW in the last 30 yrs yeah sure he was !

Like all PED cheats Holyfields roided ass shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as ATG, but funny when it comes to American greats like Holy and RJJ its overlooked that they cheated...

Damn - tough one for me - young Iron Mike was the guy who got me fascinated by the sport in the first place...

Lennox (being from the UK) showed me Tyson wasn't the Ultimate fighter, and the Klits ushered in a era of HW dominance rare for any division.

I know who my favourite is, but he ain't the best...

Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson, then there's a huge gap and the others don't matter as much.
