Doesn't matter, I honestly think he will still get some pretty big numbers. His personality is just so marketable... But, in general, this fight was a HUGEEEE reality check. He got back down to earth extremely hard. He's still among the good welterweights now. He's just not an elite level fighter.
His whole appeal as a 'rapper' type guy was his status as undefeated future superstar. Now that he is just another top 10-15 welterweight (if even that) he is a nobody in that world. He is gonna get sh*t on so much by that crowd he will be forced to become media shy. Just look at all the hate he has gotten on twitter to get a sense of it.
All depends on how this guy acts. He obviously can't put on the same persona, but he can still do it in a less exaggerated tone. I believe he will still be marketable. Obviously not to the extent he once was or would have been. I would still love to see Broner fight in 140/147. As long as Broner is able to come back without any serious psychological damage, he can still compete in a high level. He's 23 for gosh sake!
