The problems isn't that your comparing SRL to Broner. The problem is that your comparing Duran to Maidana.

Broner fell at his first real test and Maidana ain't no ATG.

Well, that and the fact the Duran was an ATG, and Maidana isn't even close to that level.

Learn how to read, and stop being a biased forum troll. I didn't compare any fighters. I compared the situation. I made that very clear in the op. But you saw what you wanted to see because your agenda is bias.

he is comparing the jump up in weight classes dumbass, not the talent of each fighter. broner was in his 4th weight division in 18 months. that was the point :patsch

You think SRL was exposed by Duran too?

I think you should guess again. Duran purposely got inside SRL's head so that he chose to fight toe to toe in Duran's type of fight. SRL typically was a graceful boxer, but chose to neglect his bread and butter. Broner on the other hand fought the same way that he has always fought - with poor footwork, and an economical punch output.

I can see why you would make the analogy, but when I look the past as both men entered their respective fights, they tell a vastly different story.

There is nothing even remotely comparable between not only the fighters, but also the situation.

    As I said: /End Thread.

Broner was 5 pounds and one half-inch smaller than Maidana. Let's not make excuses here. He got worked by a better fighter. Better being defined as "more capable at fighting people at or around his own size."

It is a crap equivocation. He is suggesting SRL losing to another ATG is somehow a similar situation to Broner, who never fought a top fighter in any weight class, is somehow in a similar situation because he lost to a lie detector.

When I watch Broner the first thing that comes to mind isn't SRL
