I've been told Eddie Hearn is in discussions with TNT promotions to bring Paul Spadafora to Sheffield in March. Shawn Porter has 6 months before he has to fight the mandatory vs Brook and Spadafora is being brought in for a "name" fight before this. Personally I feel although hes past his prime and recently lost a close decision, Spadafora is all wrong for Kell Brook and will school him. I expect the the scorecards might not say so.
I think Spadafora is a better boxer even at this stage but Kell Brook is alot bigger so that may be an issue. Spadafora recently signed with Golden Boy as a co promoter so may get this fight.
It would be Kell Brooks biggest fight to date by some distance. Even though its not a prime Spadafora.

I doubt the UK would grant access to someone who has done time for attempted murder, additionally time inside for drug offences.
Wow Brook loves fighting (bar Carson Jones) feather fisted punches. Senchenko was never powerful, he beat a faded Hatton late on when most fighters would have stopped him earlier. Jones needs to show the same balls Khan has done and step inside the ring with someone with some pop. He's being protected big time, not even Khan got this level of protection and lets face he stepped up, Brook keeps fighting C-level fighters, I can't see him beating Thurman, Porter, Maidana and the rest of the top 10 welterweight contenders.
Good god Brook is such a joke it is unreal, this isn't even a step up on Senchenko, FFS Fight a Maidana, Thurman, Porter of this world not ****ing contenders. If Brook really had balls he would get his ass to America, staying in Sheffield means the top guys at WW won't be bothered going to the UK so Kell keeps fighting contenders.
