We all know floyd is the daddy of ppv and his world is driven by cash. But would floyd tarnish his record if it meant his biggest payday ever??? If floyd was to lose a fight, could you imagine the ppv on the re-match??

    Q) would floyd throw a fight to secure a mega money rematch???

Let's use some common sense here. Why would a guy with a ton of leverage and 8 figure guarentees ever throw a fight?

fmj will never throw a fight away for $$.. he has $$ stash, and he will make even more $$ after he walks away from boxing... people will hate but he will still make money and advertise that 0..

He has 2 fights left to make the most of that 0. Once he retired the 0 means nothing.

I can see it now. Floyd retires on stool end of rd 1 due to shoulder injury. The world is state of shock. The re-match is the biggest grossing ppv event ever, floyd wins the rematch puts the ppv in the history books and retires $50m richer than he would have.

    Heard it here 1st

You forget Floyd toughed out his fight with Castillo the first time with one arm. Floyd has also finished a fight with a broken hand. (Hernandez fight, Floyd's only official KD when he took a knee because of pain.)

Won't happen. Floyd is a true champion in the ring. (Say what you want about him outside of the ring, but inside, he is all business.)

I don't think Floyd really cares what people are going to think of him 20 years from now concerning his boxing legacy, but I don't see him throwing a fight while he is still undefeated just to get rematch money.
