Broner is not Jermain Taylor, he is not Paul Williams, he is black, but that is not why he is hated.

He is hated because of the CULTURE he represents, not the race.

Many people are very accepting of all races and most cultures, but thug culture is not accepted for these reasons:

People don't like criminals (Broner is a criminal)
People don't like disrespect (Broner is very disrespectful)
People don't like ****iness (Broner is very ****y)
People don't like rappers that talk about bull**** (Broner talks BS)
People don't like braggers (Broner constantly Brags)
People don't like punks (Broner acts very much like a punk)
People don't like freeloaders (Broner surrounds himself with freeloaders)

Its such a shallow, disgusting life based on whores, money, and self glorification. Its anti-American, and that is why so many people hate it.

Broner is the spokesperson for the above ghetto thug culture, imagine if a boxer represented every stereotype of a skinhead, white trash, nazi, how would that go over with your culture? Would you like to see them get beat?

I'm tired of the "i'm from the ghetto, and I made it big, so worship me" mentality. Plenty of people had it hard, most outside this country had it much much harder, but they don't act like fools after they make some money.

If Broner acted like Jermain Taylor, you would not see everyone getting off on seeing him beat up. That right there proves that Broner's backlash is due to his culture, not his race.

I'm very judgmental against thugs, they rob, ****, beat and kill people. Are you suggesting that I should support people that idolize this type of behavior?

LOL most boxers who enter the sport grew up having many fights and were at some point 'thugs'. Boxing is what disciplines them but it didn't discipline broner - until now, that is!

I don't even know where to begin with this nonsense of yours. Whatever though, it's the culture.. I guess if I read it enough times I may actually believe it...

Got to agree with this. I can't think of any other countries that share that same culture.

Yeah, I'm sure Osama Bin Laden launched a reighn of terror against the U.S because of people like Broner. That's probably why he attacked the world trade center twice.

Kelly had fans, but the reaction was nothing like this - I can't imagine hardly anyone wishing harm to Jermain Taylor. Its the way Broner acts, not his skin color.

That's not true. A lot of people couldn't stand Taylor. There was a ton of fan backlash against him. A lot of fans(and not just Pavlik fans) reveled in his demise. Anyone in the public eye is going to get scrutinized for a variety of reasons. I'd be naive if I tried to claim that race plays no factor in how individuals are viewed by the masses. That's not to say that Broner is disliked because of his skin color, but that certainly could factor into it.
