the nubers being flashed about are ****ing ludicrous.

alex will be the shittest fighter to face a kilt in years and years.

hes not even a fulltime boxer ffs, he is a forklift driver. he will get $600k absolute maximum and that is if noel does he job extremely well

Alex Leapai vs Wladimir Klitchko would fill out any arena in Australia. He is so well known by casual sports fans who love a softly spoken boxer especially 1 of Samoan origin hence his huge following. He will make 7 figures possibly 8 figures when you factor in the enormous PPV revenue it will generate.

very hard to know exactly what hes going to get but i would think it would have to be no less than 500 k and if he is lucky maybe anywhere up to maybe like 1 or 1.2 mil

That's possible very possible but I think I have read reports Wlad has stated he will fight Alex. But it's boxing who knows.

still step aside money is still a good figure probably couple hundred K and then you retain mandotory position so you just sit on it until he fights your or keep getting paid. Good on him, wish he made more then that, shannon briggs got 800k reportedly but his managers left him with zero

Why? Only Pulev has earnt a shot.
He is by far the better opponent (above average in every aspect without being great in any aspect) but brings nothing to the table (only diffiultities making the deals being a Sauerland fighter).
Lepai is the perfect opponent to look good - very slow, throws WIDE punches... And he might bring Aussie TV money to the table.

Yup, Tony Thompson got 15% of the purse in the second fight. If that trend continues Alex should get 10-15%.

Thornberry should be gauging interest from TV, venues and sponsors to see what kind of money they could put together on a possible purse bid. That's what is gonna determine Alex's payday.

Wlad is a hot commodity, if Thornberry don't put together 7-8 million, at least, it's a poor job.

Thing is this "fight" if it happens, will be in Germany not Australia.

It's my opinion you moron and I am entitled to it. Leapai's last fight was not even an official eliminator.
