It will be a good fight! Khan is coming off an spectacular win over Diaz. Khan is also a young hungry lion. Great choice by Floyd CATCHweather! Will this be at a catchweight?

Don't think this fight's as horrible as people are making it out to be. There isn't a wealth of good fighters left for Floyd to face, and whilst Khan is severely limited he at least has an interesting skill-set to match PBF up against.

I'm ok with the fight at this point. Didn't like it at first, but there aren't many other fighters out there who make sense. Khan already beat Maidana, who just demolished Broner, so his stock has actually gone up from recent events.

Still, Pacquiao would be the better choice even though he has losses to avenge. That fight has been a long time coming and they should just get it over with. Then Floyd will have better options in the fall.

I agree with the dearth of interesting matchups, which is why I'm not especially bothered by it if it takes place (I've already given up on the fight that should have happened in 2010).

It's still a mismatch to me. Floyd's a brilliant fighter with athleticism, intelligence, and technical skills of the highest order, Khan is just a guy with speed and range.

All ive heard for the last 2mth is how everyone is going to boycott the mayweather fight if he announces khan as his opponent. Mis-match/cherry picked/not worthy etc etc. Trust me this fight is all wrong for floyd. Amir will have the advantage of height, reach and speed. The only fighters that create problems for khan are big hitters and mayweather is definately not of that mould. He is going to have knightmares with khan popping in and out of range, and will have no answers as khan is just too quick for him. He could nulify this by pressuring khan and forcing him on the back foot, but floyd doesnt fight this way. Mayweather will spend alot of time in the shell because he cant/wont compete with khans output. Khan has decent power and average footwork and yes mayweather has faced these dangers before but what he hasnt faced is someone that can do a "mayweather" on mayweather

    Yawn.

    Look -

Julio Diaz had Khan hurt. Mayweather will KO him. He has the reputation of a non-puncher but he has pop and has stunned guys with good chins, he just isn't a finisher and is safety first.

    Joke of a fight.

Regardless of power, you're talking about one of the most accurate counter punchers in the game vs. a chin that hangs itself out to dry.

    Stop being stupid.

Oh absolutely. An elite fighter that won't fight in the elite league but maybe once in a blue moon. Pathetic.

The only problem Floyd will have is dividing the money up amounst his growing entorage.

Floyd gets his first real stoppage since Hatton in half the time.

Khan doesnt see left hooks , Floyd throws the best left hook in the business.

Indeed, and unjustly so. I'm absolutely sure Mayweather is not featherfisted. He just won't take any risks but if you grant him free shots all night, you are gonna go down. Nobody can just walk through his shots.

Floyd will trash Khan, if Maidana and Garcia were able to land shots on Amir the way they could why would a pot shotter like Mayweather have any trouble? Bullshiz fight, I'm boycotting it.

Exactly. Stupid myth. He's always had pop and had KO power at the lower weights. Everyone tastes his counters and doesn't like it. He isn't a KO puncher at Welter, but he is for Khan's level of glass chin. The right place Mayweather counter will have Khan on his ass and possibly down for the count and then Floyd will finish him.

Feather fists don't stun Cotto, Mosely and KO Hatton.

Again, not a big puncher... but he's so accurate those shots are felt. Khan is an afterthought, having been put down by much lesser fighters.

Total lack of boxing knowledge using a phrase like 'Khan has a bad chin, but Mayweather can't punch'.

You know nothing if you think that.

    boycott or watch for free.

only thing worth waiting for this fight is the ppv buys and see if it stinks.

cmon dude, he beat him and he lost to her so she should beat him blah blah blah.
Styles make fights and khans style is all wrong for floyd. Yes khan has many faults, but mayweathers style is not suited to capitalise on them. I dont for 1 min believe khan is a better fighter, ffs im not silly. And being a big fan of kell brook sort of alienates me to khan but the fact remains the same...he has the tools to do a "mayweather" on mayweather and he will win this fight.
