How did Amir Khan stay on his feet against Maidana but Broner couldn't?

Just because Garcia KO'd Khan doesn't mean Maidana can. Garcia also KO'd shot Morales too, someone who Maidana couldn't drop.

    Garcia's punches > Maidana punches

    Just like

    Khan's chin > Broner chin

What your losing sight of here is the fact despite dropping Broner twice, Maidana still didn't stop him so how it the hell is he gonna stop Khan?

Khan didn't suffer a sustained beating? :patsch

    Watch the rounds 10-12!!

Broner would be asleep if he took some of them.

What planet are you on! Broner lead on the canvas for a time out pretending a headbutt injured him, yet it was Khan who acted petrified??!!!???!!

If it's not Broner's weight division why did he balloon up to 160+ on fight night. Surely if it wasn't his weight division he would've just weighed in at fight night at his natural weight. Like Pacquiao and Mayweather normally do.

And Broner did not move up 2 weight classes, his prior fight to Maidana was at Welterweight against Paulie.

Just like Khan's prior fight to Maidana was against Paulie in the same weight class he fought Maidana. Yet Broner goes down twice and loses, Khan doesn't go down at all and wins.

    Khan's chin > Broner's chin

    It's irrefutable. :hi:

And Broner goes down twice and loses

What a moron! This took place in the US not the UK.

And what was Lawrence Cole doing for Broner when he did nothing when Broner was holding Maidana's arm's so he had to headbutt to get out of it.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Khan is just the lesser of two evils so to speak- both fights had shitty refs that impeded Maidana's onslaught for stupid reasons and who (rightfully) took 1 point away from maidana for fouls but appeared to be a lot more accommodating to his opposition. I think Khan took a lot of steam out of Maidana between the brutal bodyshot that dropped him in the 1st, chasing Khan, eating constant flurries, and I believe he had to swing UP which took away from his power a little bit, although that overhand right was finding a home. When rocked in round 10 Khan turned his BACK on Maidana twice and then cortez gets in there wasting more time, he is constantly bitching about rabbit punching the whole fight looking for help from the ref when he gets roughed up a little. Khan has balls but he's not the hero you make him out to be in that fight. AB is even worse I think because of his cement shoes, poor defense and lack of movement he was there to be hit, he was Maidana's height more or less, no imposing reach, so he was hit much more frequently than khan and he was dropped and hurt early all of these variables factor in.

Styles make fights, Broner tried to walk down maidana and stood infront of him majority of the fight.

While Khan would simply land combinations, move out and avoid inside fighting.

Khan didn't get dropped because he flees when there is real danger. There is a difference between moving and fleeing. look at the Peterson fight, Khan ran and and when he got trapped, grabbed Lamont's head and pushed it down. Broner was a lightweight ffs, fighting a heavy puncher. If anything I'd say the jury is still out on Broners chin. AB didn't get starched at 135, Khan did. Khan has gone down more times than a Tennessee hooker. One fight isn't enough evidence of a bad chin IMO.....

You're kidding, right? What about the long count the ref gave Maidana in round 1 against Khan when he was floored?

Maidana had not yet developed his left hand.

If Maidana of the Khan fight fought Broner, he wouldn't beat Broner.
If Maidana of the Broner fight fought Khan, Khan likely wouldn't last twelve rounds.
