How did Amir Khan stay on his feet against Maidana but Broner couldn't?

Broner didn't have the ref on his side???????????????????? Are you f*****g joking??

    1. Broner used his elbows throughout the fight and never got a point deducted.

    2. Broner illegally through Maidana in the first round and didn't get a point deducted

    3. Broner deliberately hit Maidana after the bell in the 11th which is DQ material but he didn't even get a point deducted

    4. Maidana lifted his on Broner's chin, which Broner called a headbutt and put on a terrible play acting performance over it like a small child, Maidana get's a point deducted despite Broner getting away with his **** listed adove.

    5. The ref gave Broner extra time to recover the 2nd when Maidana was ready to go in for the kill

The ref was clearly on Broner's side to me.

Pretty much this, Dont know what the hell those score cards were all about either. Broner won the 5th, 6th and maybe the 12th at best and mostly due to Maidana punching himself out (along with that cheap shot after the bell) any other ref would have deducted points from Broner for pushing, pawing off with his glove and elbows along with the shot after the bell and unsportsman like conduct

If that fight had been remotely closer (no knockdowns) guaranteed the fix was in for Broner to win

Because Broner ate more power punches. His defense was a joke. Also, 147 Maidana might be a slightly harder hitter.

With what Broner was hit with, how does one declare that he has a glass jaw, lmao? Khan was hit by Prescott and couldn't even get up, and he tried his ass off to get up.

Broner got up and finished finished the fight.

Khan was faster than Maidana. Khan fought Maidana smartly, but he still had to go through hell to win. Broner didn't use his speed or even a little movement. He tried to use his shoulder roll defense against a guy who throws crazy shot at you. Broner should've had more respect for Maidana.

The ref didn't side with either guy. He stayed out of the fight which is how it should be in big fights.

Khan got sparked, he also got wobbled against Maidana (Barely in his loss to peterson in washington) and then got caught against Garcia with a shot to the neck in all fairness a fight he was winning to that point

Im not a big Khan fan, but it is suspicious his chin has returned to glass after splitting with Ariza. You could accuse Maidana of using but hes looked the same as ever minus a few new moves and PEDs dont teach you how to box.

Broner on the other hand is used to fighting people he has a distinct size advantage over, even at light weight he fought a skinny Dermarco and a midget in Rees so when he stepped up to 147 he couldnt even handle Malignaggi let alone Marcos Maidana (at least not without the refs help and even then)

I would be less harsh on Broner if he didnt neglect his training to go on rap tours with lil wayne and actually showed some class in the ring rather than trying to assert his "dominance" through humping Maidana, hell id show him respect if he bothered to stay in the ring and accept his loss graciously but he left in a hissy when he heard he didnt get another robbery like the the De Leon and Malignaggi fights.

I think people grossly under estimate Khan's ability as a boxer.
    Is he fundamentally flawed? Yes
Does he have a poor defence and comes across as incredibly inconsistent? Yes
Is he an elite level fighter? No.
But he's still a good fighter and at this moment in time has accomplished far more than Broner has (albeit has a few years on Broner).
I remember before the LM fight, Garcia distinctly said that LM is not that good and that he has fought much better opponents, and specifically mentioned Khan.
If only Khan had a better Ring IQ he could have been something special.
