Mayweather is far from a light puncher. Just because he doesn't have a bunch of KO's doesn't mean he is a light puncher. Guys like Mosley and Canelo would have tried to walk him down if he was a light hitter. His punches sting and keep fighters at bay.

There is a middle ground between feather fist fighters and KO artist. Its not one or the other.

I reckon Khan gets outclassed and PBF takes a unanimous victory. However, I would still like to see it.
Only other interesting opponent bar Pacquiao, would be Garcia. But I think Garcia is better off preserving his 0 and becoming the next p4p king.

The "styles make fights" cliche is true, yet only to a degree. Khans style looks good on paper, but in reality he doesn't have the tools, or IQ to effectively use that style against a superior opponent. A major gap in talent and/or experience can totally nullify the styles argument. Real world results...khans actual fights against lesser opponents....suggest he does little to trouble floyd for long.

With a fighter like Floyd, Khan's speed is irrelevant. Even lesser fighters were able to time him. What makes you think a far more superior Floyd can't?

floyd will time him...no doubt. But floyd doesnt have ko power or the killer instinct to finish the job before khan recovers. Contary to belief, khan has great powers of recovery.

his ring iq is the main worry for me. I believe he has made improvments working with hunter but agree that this could be his undoing. If he can stay calm and stick to the plan he will get the win, and it could be 1 of the easiest nights work also.

Christ not this again, Khan poses no problems for Floyd he is a B level fighter who is now past his best, Julio ****ing Diaz had him in serious trouble, Garcia destroyed him all at 140, **** Sake Khan barley got past Willie Limond it's a total cherry pick it can't be justified Floyd wins easily, Khan doesn't have the reach Advantage in fact i think Floyd is an inch longer in that regard, Secondly height, Khan had the height advantage over plenty and still got his ass beaten, Mayweather has the advantage in defense, Strength, Accuracy, Footwork, Ring IQ, Chin, Let's see how Khan's only advantage of Hand Speed, only a small advantage at that Floyd has great handspeed does against all of Floyd's advantages. Khan isn't in Floyd's league hell he isn't in Bradley or Pacquiao,s league either.

OMG!!! I STATED THAT MAYWEATHER WILL HAVE TROUBLE COUNTERING KHAN AS HE DOESNT THROW 1 AND 2 SHOT COMBOS, HE THROWS 5/6/7/8 SHOT COMBOS. SO NOW BECAUSE 1 OF THE SHOTS MISSED (I CANT BELIEVE IM ACTUALLY RESPONDING TO THIS) IT DOESNT SATISFY YOU??? SO IN USING YOUR LOGIC IF A GUY THROWS A 6 PUNCH COMBO BUT ONLY 1 LANDS, IT BECOMES A 1 PUNCH COMBO?? SO WHAT HAPPEN TO THE OTHER 5 PUNCHES?? YOU HAVE TO DEFEND THEM ALSO. SIGH
IF YOU ARE TROLLING, HATS OFF SIR YOU GOT ME TILTING BUT I HONESTLY DONT THINK YOURE TROLLING. I THINK YOU ARE JUST CLUELESS.
EAT WHAT THEY FEED YOU DUDE.:thumbsup

Rubbish, you need great power, intelligent pressure and a great chin to beat Floyd.

Khan doesn't bring any of that. Can't believe Floyd would continue to waste his prime or even post-prime on a pointless fight like this.
