People like boxing because fighters have to trade punches. MMA is good, but falters with a lot of fans after a time because too many fights wind up being battles of attrition on the ground with lots of wrestling.

Fighters that can't make it in boxing should go to MMA, not the other way around. Seth Mitchell should go to MMA, it would suit him. Manny Pacquiao could also be a MMA fighter. None of the 4 MMA fighters in the options would be a successful boxer.

Yes, and when I first discovered the sport I loved it but after a while you get sick of it. Young people love it and then and the same thing happens, it promises you with all this excitement and then it turns into a 15 minute wrestling match and loses all interest. And do you think young people have no interest in Boxing?

Boxing has many stars and veterans along with exciting young prospects, MMA has no stars. You ask 100 people who Floyd Mayweather is and they'll tell you, you ask 100 people who George St. Pierre is and you wont get near the same numbers.

MMA is a monopoly and UFC run everything, just like WWE does with pro wrestling. Theres no competition. And to be a "world" champion you have make it to the UFC. When a top fighter leaves the UFC where do they go? They get paid buttons and then you have fighters like Rampage Jackson who cant wait for their contracts to run out. MMA/UFC is taking a massive nose dive and with in 10 years it'll be gone off the face of the earth or out of the mainstream anyway.
