dawson fought way better fighters then broner, and i dont think taver or johnson were hype jobs at the time he fought them. they were top tier fighters, also i think pascal pascal is better then c level. he is rough around the edges but i give him at least a b, ill reserve judgment on stevenson.

broner is good young fighter despite his antics, his level of competition aint much to bragg about but thats how promoters and mangers work. they are still building broner up like you said but thats there job. i also think broner will
now start fighting more top names or he might have more easier fights.

hes what wba, if he wants to keep his title he can fight marcos who's number 1 or rematch the paulie. id rematch paulie if i was his promoter or manger and then go from there. but all good fighters are hyped up and have tons of easy fights. then they finally at what ever point start fighting the big dogs and then the truth is told.

list goes on and on. so with broner its no different, he might have 1 or 2 more so called easy fights but after that i think his comp level will rise. then fans will see if he is good as he says he is.

 

I am not 100% sold on Broner. Paulie sorely exposed alot of his weaknesses, and I don't forget the Ponce De Leon fight he lost. Broner has power for guys who stand right infront of him but not for any movers. He isn't a great boxer by any stretch of the measure. I feel as he move up in competition he will be slowly more exposed, and anyone smart enough to want to beat him would just watch the Ponce De Leon fight and copy PDL.

Stylistically he isn't hard to beat. He comes in straight at you, tries to nail you hard and any boxer with an above average defense would probably make mince meat out of him.
