You have listed 4 or 5 good wins there alright, fair play. I only saw Malinga and Terrazas so in fairness I can only comment on them. Both were good wins but neither were remotely in Carls class, physically or skills-wise.

Malingas only world class attribute was his fitness and toughness and courage . Not remotely as big, strong heavy and hard hitting or classy as Carl. But LSC had to work hard all the way to beat him - Carl would have stopped Malinga relatively easily IMO, no disrespect to Malinga. OK LSC throws 90+ punches a round and is super-fit. But then Carl doesnt HAVE to windmill non-stop cos his punches are more measured more telling and much more deadly.

Terrazas was bigger physically than the stick-insect physique of Malinga, but looked tired, worn and washed-up to me (ok maybe LSC made him look that way). Good win but lets not get carried away.

Carl has stopped his last 2 opponents Kiko & Parodi with one shot. One with the left one with the right. One to the head one to the body. Carl is much bigger, fresher, faster classier and stronger and hits far and away harder than anyone LSC has fought.

Hard not to get hit a lot against a peak Kiko, and he was peak vs Carl. Look at Dunne and Romero.
I do agree Carl did make hard work of it at times in there, and has more or less said so himself since. I feel if they fight again he will box smarter and get hit less next time.
That said those same punches that bounced off Carl levelled Dunne and Romero - not bad having a granite chin, is it?

Aren't you the tit that 'supposedly' put 100k on Broner by KO?

I notice that you haven't returned to that thread.

There is no question that LSC has fought the better opposition but keep in mind he is a world champion, a two weight one at that. There is nothing to suggest when Carl as a world champion he won't be fighting guys like LSC has. Frampton for the stage in his career has IMO fought at a good level. When he is a world champion i'm sure his opposition will also improve it's only natural.

I think the comments about Frampton ducking Rigo are unjust, he'd be stupid to fight a 400+ fight legendary veteran at this stage of his career... Given he's only had 13 pro fights we have seen that he has taken he class easily in the pro game

Rigo will be about for along time so no need to look for him yet....If Quigg wants to call himself a world champion with any conviction he should be fighting him yet I've not heard Joe mention his name? Funny that...

However I think if Frampton has to travel to the states to fight LSC it will be a very tall order....

One other factor that does not get half enought attention is SIZE.
LSC has been feasting on blown-up flys and bantams. Carl is far bigger. LSC rehydrates to approx 128lbs. Carls in-ring weight is approx 133-134lbs.
Thats half a stone to Carl straight away. At super-bantam that is a huge factor.

    Cheers and Happy Christmas :p

You are not mistaken that Belfast is in the U.K. But Carl has represented Ireland. As has many fighters from loyalist areas, for example Wayne Mccullough. Fighters from Northern Ireland are considered Irish fighters as they ony represent Ireland and not Britain. Hope this clears it up for you.

As I said, feel free to have Carl. Nobody on these shores cares about the Irish other than when we are mocking them.

Thankfully you give us many an opportunity to do so.

I don't think paychecks go far enough.

I think you should compare bank accounts.

My service will be to judge.

If you can both PM me your bank account numbers and sort codes, mothers maiden name, first line of your address. and any pin numbers /passwords I may need to look.

I'll ghet back to you rapidly with the results.

Happy to help, no need to thank me!
