No, we don't all agree that Khan wins the early rounds. I am beyond amazed at the people on here who believe Khan can outbox Floyd at ANY POINT in the fight.

    Unbelievable, really.

If Mayweather decides to fight Khan, then I hope it back fires & khan ko's him. Really there is no one less diserving of a Mayweather fight then Khan. There is Thurman, Midana, Danny Garcia, Lara & of course the most diserving Pac. Im a Mayweather fan & usually support him but the unwillingness to try & make it really irks me. If it can't be made because of promotional issues then Floyd should just flat out say it, but instead he tries to say Pac has losses , His ppv suck etc. I still think Floyd would school pac, but still a fight people want to see. I always believed it can't be made because of promotional issues but Floyd is acting like he just does not want it. No way in hell Khan diserves this fight more then Pac. I know Pac is 1-2 in last 3 fights but he lost a close fight to Bradley wich is a A+ Elite level fighter, & JMM who is a ATG, All PPV fights. Khan has not even had any ppv's that I know of.

Either way I wish Floyd would just say its promotional issues instead of trying to say pac is not diserving of it, Every time he tries to explain himself he basically contradicts everything he is saying because Pac has done everything better then Khan.

Lets look at this objectively what are his options.

Pac Man - The only fight out there for him really will secure legacy and make all the boxing fans happy.
Tim Bradley - Next best fight I would say at 147 besides Pac Man
Garcia - Good fighter like him a lot but tailor made for floyd to slow and will get picked off all night without landing much in return.
Khan - Debatably the quickest boxer at 140 - 147 in terms of hand speed and stylistically will cause floyd problems.

IMO Khan is a legitimate option styles make fights Khan will win rounds and if his jaw stands up could make FMJ bum cheeks twitch when they read out those score cards.

Did Floyd deny you membership to TMT or refuse to sign an autograph of yours? It honestly seems really personal with you...

Has anybody realized that the guy can fight whoever he wants, just like any other fighter? Pac fought Joshusa Clottey ffs. GGG is fighting some African dude that nobody knows. I don't see how fighting Pac secures Mayweather's legacy. When did Pac become the barometer for anyone's career not named JMM? If these two fight awesome. If they don't who gives a ****?

From a business point of view, yea, a Khan fight makes sense.

From a competitive boxing match point of view, not so much. I don't give Khan much of a shot. Just IMO.

From Mayweathers own mouth: "Khan fight makes sense" and "The Pacquiao fight don't make sense".

Floyd is the best, hands down.. but what the fvck is going on? :patsch

Seems personal to me. I really think Floyd doesn't want to give Bob Arum the satisfaction of a big payday. Just IMO. It's obviously not a monetary/business decision, because there is major money to be made with a Pacquiao fight even today.

I have no doubt if Pacquiao was not with Top Rank this would not be an issue. Just like Miguel Cotto, as soon as he left Bob Arum he got his Mayweather fight. Cotto's words after that fight really said a lot as well: "A fight with Mayweather was never discussed or mentioned while I was with Top Rank." - Something like that.

I think that Khan is a live underdog in this one. Obviously if he is clipped hard on the chin then its game over but he has the speed and style to trouble Mayweather. I don't agree that it is a 'joke' fight as Khan has fought some of the best fighters in the division and been competitive and won most of them. I'd say his last fight against Diaz was worrying in terms of his punch resistance but Khan does pack a decent wallop and has a good workrate and accuracy that could trouble Mayweather. I'd still back Mayweather to win but if he comes in overconfident then he could be in for a long night.
