    So Amir is gonna flurry, move, flurry and move for 12 rounds, with most of the flurry hitting shoulder or gloves. while getting hit with clean, crisp punches. Sounds like a game plan for success....

    Bad news for his legacy, yes.

    Khan would be the least defensible opponent Mayweather has faced in his entire lengthy world championship history.

    Yes, less than Ortiz. (considering Ortiz actually held the belt, although he obtained it essentially in his welterweight debut and had literally no depth of resume at the weight beyond that)

    Yes, less than Baldomir. (again, regardless of his serious chances to beat Mayweather he was the lineal champ when they fought)

    Yes, less than Marquez in his ineffectually bulked-up "miniature Lou Ferigno" mode.

    Yes, less than even Juuko coming directly off a knockout loss to a journeyman.

    Khan has decisively beaten only a single man in the ring in over two years and it was a green untested prospect. (not even a "must-see, this kid is gonna be a star!" prospect, just an ordinary prospect)

    Like Ortiz he is coming off his welterweight debut, but he did even worse in his (getting dropped by the faded Kidd Diaz is more embarrassing than getting dropped by prime Berto - not to mention Khan arguably could've lost - I had it 114-113 Khan while scoring live - while Ortiz clearly earned his victory over Berto)

    I'd prefer to see Floyd vs Maidana. Maidana deserves a shot to Floyd. He earned it !

    Khan should fight Broner. The winner should fight Thurman.

    :deal

    If Pac would've been with GBP, DiBella or other promotional company than TR , Floyd would've fought him even in 2009/2010. :yep

    Pac= more ppv

    Khan=less money
    Khan=less ppv

    Casual fans aside from UK dont even know who khan is here.

    So, why did Floyd ask for drug testing if he has no intention of fighting Pacquiao because of Arum ? :huh

    Floyd, also has an obligation to Showtime numbers. this fight will bring in huge numbers with US and UK combined totals.

    Most of this forum were secure in an easy win for Froch - Groves / Matthysse - Garcia / Broner - Maidana / Maidana - Khan to name a few. They were all horribly wrong. Saying this fight if it happens is going to be a one sided laughing stock is just pure ignorance and clear proof that either a) you dislike Amir Khan in general or b) you know **** all about Boxing. If you're so content with the result then lay down some $$$.........easy money right?..... RIGHT? Oh didn't think so :hi:

    What Mayweather don't realize is that unlike 20 years ago, everything is being documented on video these days. What he did in the last 5 years...it's all on youtube.

    His excuses, his power pellets accusations, his defensive cherry picking videos, his infamous "I'm a rich coward" speech, his "health comes first" speech...it's all on video. And they will be brought up every time they discuss his legacy. It's really a shame...he can beat Pac, but he's too afraid to get in the ring with him.
