During a recent interview with Fight Hype, Money May said something that those who truly listen can understand. Speaking of the business of boxing, the p4p great claimed “It’s about taking less punishment as you can possibly take, for the highest reward.” Thinking about those words it’s hard not to arrive at this conclusion: Mayweather now intends on picking fighters who aren’t likely to physically hurt him.

And Manny is one of those fighters who can hurt him. Despite the fact many claim the man isn’t what he once was, PacMan can sill dish it out. Take a good look at Brandon Rios’ face at last month's matchup with Pacquiao in Macau if you find yourself in need of solid evidence.

A match with Pacquiao may deliver a gold mine for him, but it also may deliver a real beating – and the guy clearly doesn’t want that. It would destroy any aura of invincibility, demolish his perfect record and, quite frankly, be emotionally and physically painful.

And, let’s face it, it’s smart for Mayweather to avoid Pacquiao at this point in his career.

No, October to now was much better. Now it seems that all the juantards are slowly crawling out from below the sinks after getting humiliated by Bradley. I didn't see ANY juantard threads or posts about JMM for a while because they were too embarrassed. I hope Bradley or Provodnikov retires the whiny **** drinker for good.

and what is it that makes people think that it's supposed to be Floyd that needs to try and desperately get Pac to fight him. you guys clearly don't know how being on the A-side works. PAC is the one that should be putting in that extra effort. he has no belt, he's fallen off the P4P list, he's going broke, he's 1-2 in is last 3 fights. the list goes on and on.

btw, what happened to this "meeting" that he was supposed to have with Floyd?

when Floyd wanted DLH, he harassed the **** out of him. did anything he could to get it. he left Top Rank, agreed to all of oscars demands, and moved up to Jr. Middleweight for the first time.
    *******s really got things twisted.

I'd still bet on Floyd if this fight happens. Which is why I'm pissed there's always a new reason for him not to take it.

The bottom line is this: I don't care about his personal reasons, or Pac's "worthiness", or cleaning up the sport, or any of that nonsense. Quit being selfish and make the fight so I can make some money, Money! :!::deal

Fight will happen in September. Arum ducked the May fight by booking Manny in April. ANOTHER DUCK.
