Maidana is all you really need to see.

dropped twice but kept pushing forward and even pushed maidana back. ask chinos KO victims, that doesn't happen very often.

The second knockdown was all set up because of a bodyshot. If you watch closely maidana lands a killer right hook which causes Broner to freeze up and opens him up for the left hook.

Honestly, you don't put Broner in with guys like Provo, Rios, Matthysse, Garcia, Thurman, and Maidana.

Out of all of those guys, Maidana probably has the least amount of boxing ability.

You want to stick Broner in with Judah. If he can't beat Judah, you might as well just X him out.

Broner is an extremely tough guy. I just hope he doesn't go the Mayweather route and keeps facing top opposition. Although he could definitely learn from floyd's work ethic.

    Canelo
    Guerrero

Terrible logic. :patsch Broner is not an effective measuring stick to judge elite boxing talent by.

oh so what you're saying there is plenty of tough competition for Broner to face because he's not as good.
It's just too bad that there is nobody in boxing who isn't a damn middleweight that is competition for Mayweather

Maidana beat the crap out of Broner. If not for Broner's referee Cole, he would have gotten knocked out. The long count in the second round and the point deduction in the 8th, plus giving Broner extra time to roll on the canvas faking it. Cole over looked the punch after the bell at the end of the 11th round, which should have been either a disqualification or at least, a point deduction, not to mention all the pushing, holding, forearming, elbows, lacing, pushing, Cole had warned him so very many times for that, but he did nothing about it.

I was very impressed with the way he took body shots. That's something I just do not understand. My theory has always been hit the body early and often because nobody can train their ribs, liver, heart, solar plexus, etc. But apparently some guys can just handle it. It's weird.

Some guys naturally have more dense muscle fibers and connective tissues cushioning those areas. It's also a mental thing too, there's no way he didn't feel the pain of those vicious shots blasting his liver but he just brushed them off and kept fighting.

have you seen what happens to anyone that fights him, they go to the hospitol.there isnt anyone wrecking people like the Russian,Bradley had blurry vision for a month after that fight, and doesnt even include the concussion, there is no way Maidana hits as hard, why do you think nobodywants to fight him, because they know even if they win they take a trip to the hospitol, why do you think lions dont fight each other very often to the death, because even the winner is ****ed up bad

His ability to take body shots is probably the only thing legit about him.

C'mon, Provodnikov doesn't punch that much harder than Maidana.
