At this point if Floyd doesn't fight Manny I say it's more due to punishment for the Pac lawsuit than anything. The evidence, think back to Pac's loss to Bradley, Pac really wants to fight Cotto to attempt and reestablish himself. Floyd is then vehement on stealing Cotto away from Pac, does everything and gets the fight. This leaves Pac to fight Juan and Floyd gets the bonus Pac KO. Now he's secretly enjoying Pac's demise. This guy is know to be vindictive in business, Arum, HBO, and now Pac.

And it's so much crueler and unusual to punish someone and not even tell them why. And I mean, really, when is the last time Pac put any real punsihment on someone? It's getting to the point he has trouble even putting away tailor made defenseless brawlers, and yet the ATG defense and boxing ability of Floyd is suppose to obviously be afraid of taking punishment from him??...I don't get that thinking. This guy is punishing Pac and even Pac's fans that he always jealous of...

Let me break it down for you in an even simpler way for you to comprehend. It's NOT on the CHAMPION to challenge. It's on the CHALLENGERS to challenge. That's why they are called CHALLENGERS.

Like what was said earlier in the thread. Oscar was the champion, top draw, and top earner. Floyd was begging for a match. So what should he have done? Sit his ass on the couch at home and wait for Oscar to call like he was the one who held all the cards. No. His people got with Oscar's people and they made it happen. So far all we have heard from Arum and Pac are alot of words. Yet to hear any action taken. What are they waiting for if they want the fight so bad? An invitation.

what you just said = cherrypicking.

oh and haven't you heard? Manny was coming to the USA to meet Floyd. and what Floyd has to say? he's not seeing Pac.

oh and you must've forgotten that Floyd ain't the champ anymore. he dropped his belt cause he's scared of Pac. :rofl:rofl:rofl

Funny thing is that its clear as day. Its cringe worthy, It's embarrassing.

Never have I seen anyone make himself look bad just to avoid someone.
A champion vacating his title for the sake of not fighting his mandatory. Clear duck no matter how you slice and dice it.

You can't even ****ing defend this ****, it came from Floyd himself.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, I was ready to bet on Floyd's ass and cash out since many would be willing to bet on Pac but looks like Floyd has other plans.

Of course Mayweather is scared. He would have no career outside of boxing. His 0 is his only marketability.

Well if you call that cherry picking, then it's been done by every champion in the history of the sport of Boxing at one time or another. Including Pac. So only thing you're saying is that all champions are cherry pickers, so good for you.

Yeah, Manny said he was gonna meet Floyd. He isn't gonna call him. He isn't gonna make Arum call Haymon or GB to hammer out a deal. Manny is completely ignorant when it comes to the BUSINESS side of the sport so what is he gonna talk to Floyd about. Probably wants to know if that 40 mil offer is still available.

Drop his belt? He doesn't have A belt. He has MULTIPLE belts genius. So guess what? If he dropped A belt, he's still a champion. You really suck at these discussion boards. And even if he did drop all his belts, he's still #1 P4P, still top earner, and still top draw. So it changes nothing in the negotiations. Now log off before you embarrass yourself any further noob.

The fight has taken too long to materialize, definitely a blemish on both their careers as "fighters".

and lets not forget, everytime negotiations were being done, it was ALWAYS Floyd's side who made the first step and reached out to Team Pac. people seem to forget.

TR, Arum, Pac were perfectly fine with riding off of Floyd's name and fighting Floyd's leftovers instead of fighting the man himself.

floyd is about his 0 first everything else 2nd.

he avoided the dela hoya rematch when it could get 3m+ ppc buys.

if there ever was a fight in the history of boxing that make perfect business sense, this was the fight.

floyd knew he has no upside on that fight. dela hoya on the other hand, if he can keep his stamina in check, he has a really good shot beating floyd. floyd doesnt want a focus, dedicated dela hoya. so leave 100m+ on the table and run to a midget ricky hatton.

also avoide the biggest fight in this generation against pac, another 3m+ buys.

floyd is going to run citing business reason when in fact it is boxing taht made him go quack quack.

figth no hopers for less and keep his zero, this is floyd\s mantra.

bradley schooled jmm, jmm was beaten to a pulp until he landed a hail mary. big difference.

twice offered for another fight, "im better off fighting feather fisted even if i get schooled for 2x less money".
